I went up there just to see if there were any good rides cruisin the scene. NOPE!! Blame the economy,$4 bucks a gallon for fuel, Last min prep for a car show. Better luck next year. Thanks for the effort tho.

Yeah so um, any car shows worth the time or money coming up sometime soon? I am pretty bummed I wasted $65 on this crap...I need to redeem myself w/ an atleast DECENT local car show. Hit me up.
post pics in pic section im bored ! i wanna see what was there lol

its far from HIN ... HIN brings some major sponsors/vendors - this was a large local event. more food vendors then car companies. roughly 350 cars inside and tons of rice outside... not worth 30$ spectate or 65$ to show. it would of been different if it was like HIN or Spring Break Nationals. I'm sorry but that amount of money no one gives a sh!t about music groups/entertainment. Bring out some nice WILD cars, slutty models, dj, big vendors, etc.Originally Posted by 98RHDEK9

I don't think it was that bad. Outside I agree with everyone else. Maybe the prices were alittle steep but the fact this was put together at the last min. and they tried to put something on for crowd that was expecting NOPI. I wouldn't say it was a fail. If it were me and i was putting this on I wouldn't have rented out some huge facility and contacted alot of top sponsors/vendors not knowing how many people would show up.
I think this will grow into a bigger and better show in the near future.
Mainstream Performance
I went. I was hoping for NOPI. It fell short. It was still somewhat enjoyable though.

^ yeah i would have enjoyed if it was like a one day $20 show
just got back.. I didn't even bother showing my car inside today b/c I didn't wanna wait until after 8pm before I can leave with my car... Thats just way too long.. I saw everything at the show in 10 min... They said there was 240 cars inside and 300 cars outside.. That outside grass lot was ****ty... Not flat.... Anyways, the show was boring as hell with nothing really going on... And I agree, they charged way too much to go inside...
btw, alot of cars weren't there inside today that was there yesteray... Will have pics. up later..
here is my link to the pics I took... 08 Replacement Nopi Nats car show in ATL...
LOL, at all the folks who spent their money and are crying about it. I guess I was one of the few who actually enjoyed the show. Sure, it wasn't how NOPI used to be, but it was better than sitting home doing nothing. I'll happily go again next time. We need to quit crying and complaining and try to do something postive for the import scene. If you can't do something, at least try to support those who put on the shows. If not, then just stay home.
WOW! I just looked at some pics and I have to say, I'm glad I didn't go...
