It's a pretty big place, but we will make it easy for everyone to meet up. A few of us Ol'skoolers are gonna ride out Saturday and check out the Gwinett/Athens area meet. It should be pretty big. This way we can see the place in action. Any one that wants to ride out with us on saturday july 26th meet at our shop around 4:00 pm. PM me if you need directions to the shop,. It's in Auburn, about a 8 mile ride to Ft. Yargo.

After we go and visit the park this weekend I'll know more about directions inside the park. I'm reserving a picnic shelter in case it's raining, or it's just brutally hot. I'll post up what I find out.

"A few of us Ol'skoolers are gonna ride out Saturday, and check out the Gwinett/Athens area meet. It should be pretty big"......Wow! alot of talk on the thread, and at 5:30 only like 6 cars were there. But, we rolled in with like 15 cars, and got our grill on. The weather might not have been great, and the Athens people were not the friendliest bunch, but it turned out to be a really fun afternoon. The best part was the drive from the shop through downtown Winder. 15 OG cars riding in a line through traffic. FTW. And Franco bustin' a sick drift across a busy intersection in a AE86!

Thanks David, Ken, Brandi, and Shane for helping out at the shop, and driving all the way from Paulding county! Thanks, Altimacharlie, for bringing that coolass B210 all the way from Mableton. Thanks, Ashley and Aden, for bringing the celicas out, and taking the photos. Thanks, to Chava, for bringing out the whole Rx 7 rotory crew (the 7's were out in #'s today) And last, but not least ,thanks to JR, for bringing out the Gainesville guys. Oh, Yeah...Thanks Will for representig Dekalb Co. and for wearing the only ZERO T-shirt!!! Good looking out!

This was a stong showing for just a few days notice. About 3 weeks to go for the next Old Skool Meet. SATURDAY, AUGUST, 16 3:00pm. I'll post directions for where to go inside Ft Yargo. As soon as we decide which part of the park we are going to meet in.

Thanks again, for supporting the Atlanta area old skool Japanese car scene. See y'all in a few weeks.

    Dave Wilson.

Here's an old skool corona VIP with SSR mesh rims, and chek out the cressida with the "victory pipes." I've gotta put some tall pipes on one of our cars!

For real dude, I'm thinking about the 710, the 74 corona Mark II, or the 1980 200 sx, but i can't decide wich car should get done like this. Either way the 77 celica is getting a set of victory pipes like these!(the red and silver car) Check out the Ka'razy pipes llooking down that line of cars. I really dig the early 70's corona in the green and black. Stock those are some of the ugliest cars around.

it's my b210 hatch, i love how it looked beside the orange celica of the same year. imagine having a choice of what to buy new in 1977. they both have 5-speed badges on the back.

These are Toyota Soarers. 3 of them are custom made shark nose conversions. One of them is a stock front end.

The Starions are un-reliable but the Conquests, now there is a reliable car.

Actually the regular stuff isn't why it's not running, I have a cracked cylinder wall on a freshly rebuilt motor. Kinda pissed me off so bad, i haven't messed with it since. Had it all ready for the Import show down and it blew while driving it to work trying to break it in. It had about 50 miles on the new build. Should've had it magnafluxed.
I have a new block but need to get all the machine work done before I can swap all the new parts off the old block on to the new one.

A 92 Eclipse is NOT even old school, lolol. But bring it out any way. As far as I know, it would be the only one there. You know you're welcome to come. Later, QD.
