Is there a car meet at shirwin or did that stop?
Everyone quit going for the most part. The only person I know that continued to go was Jeremy.
Don't worry, JT with the red Genesis has created another Newnan meet on FB. I'll forward you the link.
Post up the link to the facebook page

Damn, that's a lot of ponies!
Best new car for around 30K?
Focus ST, Base model Mustang GT, Challenger RT, Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S, ect..?
Someone I know is looking and the question got me thinking. Would you rather go all out performance like the base 5.0 Mustang GT? Or a loaded Focus ST? Maybe a Subaru BRZ since its reported to be an amazing drivers car?
I know it depends on what the car will be used for and how important performance is in making the decision but Im just curious what other people think. It will be used as a DD. Any car you can think of. Im just trying to help brainstorm even more.
The Focus ST seems like a pretty cool car to me.

If I came into some money I would get a 5.0 Mustang for the weekends and a Focus ST for daily use, so I guess to answer your question I would pick either one of those. I am a Ford guy though, so that is an extremely biased answer. haha
Damn, i need to come to more Newnan Meets.....I'm a Ford guy all alone out here in Chrysler country
Work at Ford Parts too, so lmk if ya need anything Employee discount for frandz
It would be a hard decision for the new car. I love BRZ/FRS, heard great stuff about being driver's cars but just seem really underpowered.
Hi, kinda new here used to go to meets like 3 years ago. Probably all new people now but I was just wondering if you guys still meet up or is it just the southside meet now?
SHHHH: You should tell your friend to look at a new Mazdaspeed3 if a daily driver 4dr hatch is what he wants. The new ones with the tech package are pretty loaded and they are pretty quick stock. "263-hp, MZR 2.3L (DISI) turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 280 lb-ft of torque" straight off the mazda website. If he drops some extra $$ for mods he can get to 300hp fairly easy. I may be biased though since I just got my white 2008.5 about a week ago
Thanks! Thats a route I dont think hes talked about either. Hes really liking the Focus ST but the performance from a base model Mustang GT has him second guessing.
I know exactly how you feel! Brandon and Jeff will hook you up. Heres a video of my old car they worked on. I have a few videos of my old car and my buddies old CO Cobra on my youtube. Theres also a couple videos of my '13 that I had Jeff tune.

incredible. I was looking at getting a Termi instead of the Z, but my insurance (being I was 18 at the time) would have been over $600/mo. So I paid ~300/mo for the Z. In Retrospect, I should have just put the money in the bank and bought a beater to drive for 2 years, I would have a Termi right now...
But if something goes wrong with the Z i'm just getting a 2013 5.0, black on black, with the Recaros.
Anyone ever put on small local drift events around Newnan?
In case you are still looking for an IRS setup Steve. 45K miles, $500, pickup only, Houston,TX. Everything but brakes.

Thanks Phil. I'm still contemplating on whether I should go with the iron housing opposed to the aluminum.
