    You need air shocks to keep the rear off the bump stops or you may loose control while towing. Just my .02.

    And the svt is officially down.....for now. Did a compression test and from 1-4 it's 120, 120, 30 and 50. Cylinder 3&4 are shot. I'm hoping just a head gasket but we'll see once i dig into it. Turbo will get rebuilt as well since it's showing some shaft play. Will also be sending my coilovers out to be repaired (right front is blown).

    I understand where you're coming from... I didn't have the weight on the trailer properly balanced... So it pushed the weight on the tongue....
    But it didn't handle bad at all for how it it... And if I spend any money on bags... It's gonna be a full bagged suspension laying frame instead of just for helping tow.....
    My truck doesn't need to tow... That's what dads trucks for... Lol check the last pic I posted yesterday... He can take on the 8k lbs worth of towing...

    Fortunately the bottom end of the SVT Focus is forged except for the hypereutectic (spelling?) pistons which is its weak link. Stock motors in those cars are known for handling 16lbs without a build. Sucks to hear about those cylinders though.

    Not sure on the size of the turbo. Jeremy may be able to provide the link to the guy that daily drives his with 16lbs. I may be wrong on the casting of the pistons but the crank and rods are forged.
