I would've made it out but I ddint get back in town in time. But i picked up a k24a2 though
its reasonably priced i do believe.
Does anyone have experience with defective title bonds?
yeah. we had the choice of going from a dig or a roll and with 30 cars, there was proper competition for all.

there were a few. one twin turbo cobra said he was bouncing the limiter at the half mile and said that worked out to be 175/6. two supras came out to play- one was ij the 170's and the other 180+. a couple a nice gtr's and i imagine they were near if not above 150.
eh... i agree. only problem is my setup and dads setup arent really gonna be worth a damn in a mile. im hoping to participate again next year in my car and hit 130+. shouldnt be much of an issue i hope.

^^ not bad Stephen. There is another event in Texas that we're going to next year that'll be right down your alley.
I'll go next year, haha![]()
"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself."
The biggest issue with Deal's Gap is the traffic and the people that can't seem to stay in their own lane. For example, Mike and I went out to chase a C6 Vette convertable and the d-bag was crossing lanes during each turn trying to gain a lead on us. He ended up letting us pass half way through the run. When LB and I were coming back up the mountain, there was another Miata that was halfway in our lane as we came around the corner. When we went out to make our first run of the morning, another young kid in a Miata had slid into a Honda Odyssey during a turn. No one was injured but the miata was totaled and the van had pretty good damage to the driver's door. It's stupid shit like that, that kills people.
We were originally intending to head to Florida for the half-mile event but could not get parts in time for the Subaru to get it running and I don't want to rush things. So, the next best thing was Miatas at the Gap. I was hesitant on taking the Miata as I just participated at a track event with Shroeder a couple weeks ago and the tires had zero grip. It was the same case yesterday so we ended up just taking it safe as I didn't want anything to happen to her car.
Thank you Bobby for telling us about Momma Goldbergs...
I'm here now trying it and had a ham and swiss... its really good..
