It cracks me up seeing people here freak out just hearing the thought of snow. The south has no clue what a real snow storm is.
MeFryRice: Yeah, the first year I lived down here we got a report of predicted snow and I was trying to figure out what the hell everyone was doing freaking out and rushing to the grocery store to get eggs, milk, and bread. LOL Then the snow came and I realized that NO ONE would leave the house for anything and when they did they had NO idea how to drive in it. I'd ride around and see people in ditches and if they were still on the road they were either driving WAY TOO slow or WAY TOO fast.
I passed a guy last year or year before when we got the snow. He's in the ditch and I'm in the Shitbox driving up to the school to do doughnuts. Pathetic.

Dude... let it snow. I used to have to WALK to school in 4 ft a snow in NY. Fun.
I'm from Utah and remember walking out to my car one morning to find my doors were literally frozen shut so I had to walk my ass to school that morning. Lol.
That happened to us once when we were driving across country. Sucked ASS! It was our first time seeing snow though since we were from California.

The GTI is amazing in the snow...everyone on 34 was doing maybe 15 and I effortlessly drove 55 without a hiccup.
shit, out here where roads are not traveled, the ice is fucking horrible... My boss and i were the only ones to make it in today. AWD ftw!!!!
