No turbo. Just removed the muffler and put a new one in it's place because it was making an odd sound. My friend did the same thing and he says every now and again it will just idle horrible, but drive it a few feet and it will go back to normal. I didn't believe him, and then I drove it to the end of the driveway and it was perfectly fine.
Is the back pressure too low, and when it gets driven it builds more up?
N/A cars don't depend on back pressure as much as turbo'd cars. May be something else.
Maybe linked with the odd sound that started coming from my engine?
Got some leaky fuel injectors. Gas spewed all over my garage floor when I tried to start the car.

Chris, the NX is coming together very well. Still have to push-start, but it's slowly coming together.
Possibly. So many sounds can be made. Have a couple of people listen to it and get advise from them.
One friend thinks pulley, I think pulley, another friend isn't quite sure, and the other is car illiterate, so he doesn't have an opinion on what it could be.
Guess I'll have to drive it until it makes the sound and then head to a friends house and and hit the ramps to look under. Sounds like it's coming from the drivers side, and low down.
If it is still doing it next time I am down, I will take a peek and see what it could be.

Also, the pipe that my flex pipe is on seems to be what's making the rattle. Maybe it just came loose.
