Guys, Sherwin Williams (the place I worked at in Manchester, Ga) screwed me. Because of their fuck up I am without a check for at least 2 weeks.

IF ANYONE HAS ANYTHING I CAN DO FOR A FEW BUCKS OR KNOWS SOMEONE WHO DOES, LET ME KNOW!! (no sexual favors, sorry)

I'm talking, painting (household), yard work, moving something, etc....

Thank you very much, ask how much he'd be willing to give out for it.

I really do appreciate the comment, keeps me going on working on her...I just need a LOT of work to get her anywhere close to what I want her to be.

I'd bet money that Bryan at the Sherwin Williams where we meet could get ahold of what you are looking for!

Cool, cool. I want to be able to paint underbody coating on. Spraypainting upwards doesn't sound like fun.

If I'm not there Friday, I'll be pissed. I'm trying to figure out a way to get a quart or gallon of Por15/Chassis saver. Since I didn't technically pay for my clutch, or have to buy any tools other than a 24mm socket, I think I can spend that money on maintenance things. That way I don't have to keep taking things apart.

    It's Georgia, why the POR15?

I have had cars 50 years old from here with solid frames..

That is why I'm glad that I bought a car that was originally sold in the north. Already has that shit on it.

if you are sanding chassis/suspension parts/engine compartments down to bare metal.. its one of the best/fastest/most cost effective way to build the corrosion resistance and adhesion back up to be painted. Also, if there is any rust, you don't have to get it all off. Just get the loose stuff off with a wire brush.. paint the product on (can be brushed and look fantastic).. and be done with no fear of rust returning.. its a great product

From '92 to '07, it was a Pennsylvania car.

I don't have very much rust at all, but my control arms have lost their factory coating and are starting to show their age.

I can't wait to get this fixed so I can start on a new project.

If my girl decides she wants a 2000-05 celica, I'll get a 94-99 and build the beast I wanted to put into this one. Then I'll have three generations.

    What? Really?
What about using a color other than amber?
    I hate that color.

I'm getting clear corners/turn signals, and will be redding out my tails.

Whew. I'm almost ready to pull the engine out. I got all my coolant, power steering, a/c, and most of my electrical disconnected. I love how much less complicated a 4AGE engine is than a 5S or a 3S.
All I have to do is pop off my suspension and brake parts to pull my axles, disconnect the fuel hard line, and I'm ready to pull.

I am going to get some chassis paint, though. My engine bay is nowhere near as white as my body.

    Replacing the clutch.
And yes, before you ask, it is easier to pull the engine than it is to drop the trans out of the bottom.

    I'm also spending time cleaning.
