Did you go in your car? If so what time did you put down?
Also, James, it's time to change the picture in your sig to reflect your new unmolested tails.

Hopefully here soon I will have some new suspension pieces, an alignment, a new set of wheels, finished exhaust, and a dyno tune.
anyone know of a good shop that build high performance transmissions? i am looking to possibly have a 4.45 gearset put in and have the bearing preloads tightened and whatever else might make it withstand 500ft/lbs
Steve, I am wanting my engine bay to look fairly close to stock. When I switch shells, I will pick up a PRM intake.
That is an awesome shot, Corbin.
Media embargo is over :)
Maybe this will put a stop to all the ZL1 fans claiming the embargo was because the car wasnt as good as the ZL1 LOLOLOL

I'd love to see the picture but I'm assuming you'd have to scan it as it's likely a print? lol
Phil: numbers are VERY impressive!!!!
Bite me, while most "racers" are running around taking pics for facebook, us pioneers were too busy to worry about documenting every bolt replaced.
Actually, it was from just a year or two back, it's digital. I'll try to find it. There are some cool roads by that bridge.
lol I just rmembered asking you for a picture of something one time and you said it was print. hahahaha
And yes, there's a handful of nice roads over here. I had Corbin grabbin the O-shit handle for a minute. lol
This one is actually the oldest/longest covered bridge still in use in either the state. It was built in 1843 and is used almost once a year for various movies/tv shows. WHat you see in that shot is less than half of it. I would hate to have to traverse it daily...
Yeah. They were filming all over down here. They were using the fairgrounds as basecamp. For a place with ZERO traffic on a daily basis, it was a royal pain when they showed up... lol
Got my window tint done today finally :)
Slowly but surely things are getting done on the GTI. Hopefully I'll be getting my wheels next.
thought u were getting an audi? I remember reading that, but not the final outcome...
I haven't decided yet. It'll be early to mid-2000 year range Audi or VW (only GTI or GLI though). The one that was presented to me is being considered among a few others.
I'm keeping the mkvi though. I would never get rid of my GTI haha
So let me get this right, didnt we have a conversation on here about wether or not you could afford to mantain the gti??? Now you want an audi and the gti.....LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL OLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL OLOLOLOOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Good luck with yoru financial goals of 2012 and on
Alright, Corbin...I'll play along. I understand you're the neighborhood forum troll, so allow me to set this shit straight.
1) I can afford the GTI and anything/everything that comes along with it.
2) I can afford to fix the Porsche (which is what I'm in the process of doing before we sell it) AND still maintain the GTI.
3) I can afford to buy a "project" car which will be shared with my service manager and I at the dealership so we can have fun and do stupid shit WHILE still being able to afford to fix the Porsche (which is what I'm in the process of doing) AND still maintain the GTI.
4) I can STILL afford to pay all of my bills with the addition of 1, 2, and 3 and have money left over to spend on clothes and makeup and other girly junk.
Sorry, I didn't realize you were aware of my current income and what I'm able to financially handle these days. This is not me bragging either. This is me saying get the fuck off of my case about what I'm doing with MY money. And before anyone plays the "we're just trying to help" card...trolling is not helping. It's looking to start shit.
Thanks for your concern and "best of luck" wishes. Greatly appreciated. Now move along.
Yes sir!! So worth the money!
Be careful "Sharing" a project vehicle. Things can get real ugly real quick. You need to sit down together and project where you are now, and where you wanna go with it and make sure to write it all down. Otherwise you may end up getting screwed with a shit ton of money down the drain and a never-gonna-finish project car that has only one name on the title and if it isn't your name, you're SOL.
He said this to me, actually LOL Like I was gonna back out or something. It's probably gonna end up being a mkiv GTI since we're both on the same page with that specific car and where we want it to end up. We've discussed it many times and yes, we/I do have a list. I only ever considered an Audi because it was offered to me. Other than that, I've pretty much been stuck on a mkiv GTI. He thinks it'd be the better car since I have a greater passion for it than the Audi.
Lol ok. Can't help what you think. Believe what you want.
She can make her own mistakes/decisions/whatever on her own. The US government deems that she can legally do whatever she wants. Though it is funny, I'm willing to see how it all pans out.
You must be selling a fuckton of vehicles at the dealershit and working the corner on your off hours. Other then that...I respectfully call bullshit.
I don't understand buying another vehicle without paying the one you just bought off...maybe I'm just dumb.
If I ever went Audi, it would have to be the 2.0T five door or an A8L.
