Yeah... I'm doin reserves so I can get back to school after boot camp... graduated with a guy who is going to N. Ga (mini west point) he just swore in for natl guard...when he gets back from basic he's gonna finish school then go full commissioned after ...

Well, my dad's car made it to the auction yard and there is still a chance that I can buy it back. From someone I know that works there, the cars sell anywhere from 15% to 25% of their face value; which for my dad's car that would be in the ballpark of that percentage of $20K.

Out of curiosity, why would he want it back? Does he not feel violated? It seems if I were in that position I would never have a good feeling about the car again. I would be looking for another. That's just me though.

He doesn't want it back. I do. I want to buy it back because I want it. I am not going to let some jerk off fucking low life thief get me down. I've known that car for 6 years now and a piece of my heart is in that car. If the price is out of my range, then I will let it go and move on. However, if the price is within my range, I will fight for it. I wants nothing to do with the car. He has been paid for it. He now has a Cadillac which is something he needs anyways.

I weighed my options last night and opted out of buying the Cobra back. Currently having two loans and about to add a third to buy my wife a used Honda, its not a justifiable idea at the moment. It sucks but it is what it is.
