^^ You never did show up for your appointment to have the alignment done.
Sup, guys/gals?? Long time, no post. I'm doing good up here in Washington. The family is too. I'm still in the market for a car. I've got my eyes on a 1970's/1980's Volkswagen or BMW. I've always wanted one and now is the time. I'll post up pics when I get it and keep everyone updated on the build.
How's the Army treating you? How you liking it? And where did you go to BCT again?
Gonna bolt up the exhaust and wire in VTEC tomorrow night and Davis gets his garage back.
Daniel- A friend of mine just commented on a picture of our cars (when we went to the mountains) and said he sees you all the time. He then asked me if it was a Civic SI. :D
So, I'll be making a trip down to APR next Wednesday. Super excited!! :D
Haha, it's an easy mistake, I guess.
Just wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to both Steve R. and David. Both of these guys have spent EXTREMELY late nights working on my car over the last week and have bent over backwards for me. It is a very comforting feeling to know that our Newnan crew is such a tight-knit group and that I can friends I can depend on so confidently. Thank you both, and thank the rest of you as well for all that we've done and all that we will do in the future as friends.
Pre meet is at Mainstream Performance on the 21st.
I've decided that Subaru's mapping of 08+ STI's and 09+ WRX's is a royal pain in the ass and the redundancies of it various tables is nothing short of annoying! From a stock rom to me creating my own basemap, going through it table by table usually takes me between 20-30 minutes. I had to create a basemap for a '12 WRX last night/this morning and it took between 1.5- 2 hours....
I've always wanted to learn tuning.....but nevermind.
Nothing. It was just an excuse to butt-fuck each other all night.... :ninja:
First up was a set of these PCI front control arm spherical bushings. My bushings were non-existent from the stress of my fucked up suspension geometry, so these PCI ones were a nice upgrade/repair. If you've ever had to press bushings, you know it's a nightmare.

Next up was a brake overhaul....

The calipers wouldn't fit without a little help...

you're just jealous :gay:
We did start relying on the "special tool" at the end of Monday night.
OMG those breaks are sexy. Daniel I love you....I mean your car!!
I can't see paying that much for calipers.
Do any of you fuckers meet up anymore? Been a minute since I've been down there....
sadly we still do :P
For those who dont have me as a friend on facebook: WOOT!

I'll probably be out tonight.
If the 911 runs, I'll probably bring that (I haven't even touched the car since I bought the GTI...it needs to get out).
If not, then I'll bring the vw out again.
Nice P5! I love those cars. Would love one for a daily.
Looks good Joe :goodjob:
Hennessey is the first company to put the almighty ZL1 on the dragstrip.
2012 ZL1 Camaro with automatic transmission, baseline 1/4 mile dragstrip testing:
12.52 @ 116.3 mph with a 2.0 60 ft.
Nitto 20 inch drag radials: 12.11 @ 116.1 mph with a 1.81 60 ft. time.
"This car made 467 rwhp on our Dynojet dyno a couple of days ago."
Very very unimpressed with those #'s hahahaha :goodjob: GM
