I work at a dealership where they were able to get me a better rate than I had with the Miata for next to nothing. Where am I getting the money?? I have a better job than I did before where I'm the #1 sales person at the moment. And the Miata is cheaper, yes, but I'd rather pay a little more for something I love than, well, anything for something I hate. Plus, I have so many extra benefits with this car when it comes to maintenance and care. More so than with the Miata. So, I'm actually saving money by switching to the GTI.

And I don't like the wheels either, but they came with the car. It is what it is. It's not really a big deal.

-edit- and I bought the Miata because I was pressured into it by people telling me it was the better choice when it really wasn't. Still my fault 100%, but I've learned from it. I did not buy the Miata because I was trying to save money. Just FYI haha

Just out of curiosity, why wasn't the miata a good choice?

#1 sales person at the Fiat dealership.... Does that mean you sold 2 cars/30days? last I heard they weren't exactly flying off the lot :/

This. Sometimes some cars just don't work for some people. Now, if the GTI was gonna be a huge price difference overall or end up costing me more, I would've stuck with the Miata...regardless of how I felt about it. Sometimes you just gotta suck it up, but my dealership got me a great deal while pretty much giving me my payoff for my trade (which I know it was not worth that much haha).

I'm not a fan of the wheels, but I don't have the money to drop on a new set right now. It's not that big of a deal for me to really worry about right now though. They're just wheels

Right now I'm probably at 10-11 cars this month. Maybe more. And Fiat is doing a lot better. More and more people are gaining interest in them. Yes, it's gonna take some time to grow, but they're doing ok. Don't always believe everything you hear/read. Also remember that we sell more than just Fiats. Every dealership has a used car lot :P

Too small and I didn't like how I felt in it. I just wasn't comfortable driving it. I probably should have figured all of this out before I bought it, but it is what it is. The problem is solved now

I think Bobby said something about the car being too small, as well?

I know the guy I sold all my Garage Vary stuff to said that he wanted to get rid of his too because he didn't like the way he felt in it either. So, I mean, several people feel this way. It's the same with any car though. Works for some, doesn't work for others.

You can say the car is gay all you want but it's truly one of the more fun cars on the road today. People that say only gays drive them obviously haven't driven one.

+1 Well set up, its quite possibly one of the best handling street cars I have ever driven. What they lack in power, you gain 10 fold in handling and never having to touch the brakes in corners.

I honestly don't even know how that is possibly (Obviously I love my car though). I mean I feel like one with my car when I drive it, which is exactly what Mazda was trying to do when they were building it.

Also, congrats on the new ride Roxie. I honestly don't think the wheels are that bad. I know you want to change them and I would too, but they are not awful right now.

I have no idea when the last time was!

I always think that I have only driven it like twice, but then I remember that I took it to school a few times when my car was down.

I have a problem going over speed bumps even in regular cars. I'm so used to scraping and clunking and destroying and I tense up and get anxiety in anticipation.

My car is not near as nice as Laurabeth's so you can drive mine. It will be a hell of a lot slower than hers, but it is more "Miata" than her's if that makes sense.

Well, it's official. I am 100% in love with my car. I've only driven it 50 miles and I am head over heels in love with it. Everything about it is so easy. Driving, operating, shifting, everything!! Best decision I've ever made...BY FAR!

Sorry, I'm extremely happy right now and my excitement is showing
