    1. Most of us will agree stretched tires are not our personal tastes, but I wouldn't go as far to say they're for fags.
    2. Tommy's tires aren't as bad as a LOT of other setups. IMO, I think if anything his wheel is just a hair too wide...
    3. What's this about RPF1's Steve? That'd be cool...

What's acceptable as far as stretched tires go IMO..

Correct "Square" tires being the control and based on 1/2" increments of wheel widths(18x9, 18x9.5, 18x10, etc)

1 size slimmer tires = just right

2 sizes slimmer tires = too much

    Just throwing it out there

Since I'm perfectly happy with my BBS's (even in the condition they're in), I no longer have a hard-on for getting RPF1's. Tommy has been tossing the idea around alt lately and I think it would be the look he's after. He complained the other day that there's 3/4 silver bugeyes on NASIOC with silver RPF1's, and the same exact lip/scoop/spoiler combo as him and he doesn't wanna be a copycat. My solution: they'd look like sex in black!!!

If the guy who owns that cobalt thinks that car looks good he is crazy, that looks like shit. Tommy get the "sbc" colored rpf1. They look fucking awesome on a silver car.

I wasn't referring to Tommy's car in my "stretched tires are for fags" comment. His car looks much better now that he's added some camber all the way around. He's eliminated the mexi-flush look.

All he would need to complete the look is some curb-feelers and a Puerto Rican flag hanging from the rear-view mirror.

    I was about to say!

Maybe I'm not seeing what everyone else is, but to me it doesn't look...bad.

These were the tires that came with the wheels... The stretch fucking killed me... I hated it... I went like 3 inches wider for the new tires...

why havent you painted your front bumper and grill? the faded black doesnt work i know white would look best, but even spraying it black from a rattle can (with proper prep) would look decent.

Who's hating on them? I personally like them and the price of them is inexpensive.

Danny - Is it just the photos or is the light spread uneven behind the gauges? Did you guys change the bulbs to red or are they now red due to the gauges?

The lighting looks fine on the gauges in person. The pictures make it look a little uneven. The only place that lacks a bit of light is under the tripometer, due to the location of the light bulb.

And the gauges are red due to the gauge faces. The OEM bulbs have a green "condom" on them to help illuminate the stock gauges in green, but we took off the condoms so they are now just clear bulbs. Does that make sense?

I prefer the grey look opposed to dark black... They weren't really back from factory.... And we have the windshield frame of the jeep and did a lil bit of welding and bondo... Waiting for dad to paint that then hopefully we can just get some white on my truck with the lil compressor... And maybe redo it when the big one is wired.....

Yeah I changed my gauge bulbs color...
The factory bulbs are yellowish and the gauges are blue plastic so I put white leds I and now I have a pretty blue color that matches my headunit.. but they don't dim very well...
I actually changed the lights in my a/c panel and headlight switch too... All.blue...

I want to see these in person. They look good though. It's a nice subtle change over OE stuff.
