That's all 80% of us need. ECU mods and defoulers can pass the OBDII scan without problem, it's the visual that gets us. It's a gamble whether someone actually looks or not...

I'll be out just for a bit...gotta get my food anyway.
Being from Utah, the cold weather does not bother me one bit. I took my driver's license test in the snow.
In regards to rusty vehicles, we plan on getting "winter vehicles" to help prevent that. Also, it helps that the west also cleans their roads. As long as you clean your car once a week, the rust isnt an issue.
Legends new owner took delivery today :(
I have a miata :yay:
so true... It'd do you good to go apeshit every now and again. hahaha
Like Daniel said, "most" OBD2 cars are just gonna have difficulty passing the visual. Most of the time a de-fouler will work or for those of us with engine management, there's usually a work-around integrated into the ECU software.
What's you're problem dumont?
After seeing Roxie's Miata, even I am catching the Miata craze... Not a bad car at all.
For some reason, the cams in my car intermittantly argue with the Cam angle sensors. It tosses a code for a split second, just a pending code. But, this pending code haults the drive out cycle. Just bugs with a new motor.
Thats whats so sad, DSM passed with flying colors and is twice stock HP. All my trucks are exempt, STi is expt for a few years.
So much miata hate in here
this one.. took some digging...
wide body.. these wheels have less lip than i the ones i think it had originially

Problems starting it. And I'm taking it to the dealership because they're probably gonna do it for free since it happened the night I bought it. If not, then I'll take it back home and figure it out myself. It'll be our first bonding experience :D
Things happen and problems arise. Dealerships hide stuff ALL THE TIME. Am I mad? Of course, but I still love this car and the only thing I can do now is fix it. You can't tell me you've never had a problem with your car...I do believe I've been there when you've talked about something going wrong. Shit happens. You fix it and move on.
I've had a cat go bad, broken my motor mounts, and torn out a fender liner. 2/3 occurrences have been due to my own actions, the cat did not inhibit drivability just emissions. There's no need to be so defensive, it's all a part of the new car initiation.
And you're thinking of the time we were upgrading the clutch line and we three stooges couldn't figure out there was a thin diaphram covering the resiviour....operator errors LOL.
I wasn't referring to that night, actually. That was hella funny though! I know that was just us being dumb hahaha
And my point exactly, it comes with the territory. I'm being a little defensive about it because I'm actually really excited about this car and I'm VERY happy to have it (because it's actually my first car, as well), and it's been nothing but people bashing it since I've gotten it. Kinda irritating, ya know? I know not everyone will like the miata, but damn....
Eh, don't stress over it Roxie. The miata is nicer than most people's car on this forum. It's your first car and have the right to be happy and enjoy it. Continue to do so.
