Honestly man, it doesn't matter how hard to try to keep the front bumper minty, shit's going to happen. My vote would be to just get it resprayed and look into the the 3M speedfilm. Now would be the time to look into an aftermarket one if you're interested in going that route. In regards to the Evo or 370z, you could almost repaint the front bumper each month for what your car note would be. I like what you've done with your RSX.![]()

The varsity is for hoodlums, I'm
sick of this shit.
We considered stopping by as we passed the Varsity on our way home from rock climbing. Sounds like it's a good thing we kept driving.

It looks like he's running a 195/55? Running a 45 or 50 would make a hell of a difference as far as looks go.
Btw, I'm buying my first battery today. Kinda strange that I've never done it before, but after my battery finally kicked the bucket yesterday I figured that I'd spend the necessary $$$ for an awesome one.![]()

If I have any energy left by the end of today, I might come out.

sidewalls look perfect on his car. If he's running 195/55 then he's running the proper size. (Unless he wants a wider contact patch then 205/50's will do it. I ran 225's on my prelude. hehehehe) A smaller sidewall is gonna increase wheel gap, make it look like a lowrider wheel/tire combo, throw the speedometer off, give him a harsher ride and increase the risk of wheel damage. (DISCLAIMER: friendly debate- not trying to say your wrong. lol)
And congrats on the battery! lol WHat'd you get??
If I don't feel comfortable with the weather in Reynolds I won't be going to the track so I may show my face....

I would run a 205/50 all day, but it all depends on the make/model of the tire. I'd run a 205/50 on a set of Bridgestone Potenza's just because the sidewalls are stiff enough to support the wheel without risking any sort of damage(also, driver mod). I'd be skeptical on some Kuhmo AST/ASX's. Keep in mind that I ran a 205/50/15 on my sol and it looked great. Granted the difference between a 205/50 and a 195/55 is literally .2 inches. It makes a huge difference IMHO.Then again...I'm a freak....
And I haven't bought it yet! Going out in a bit to grab my Optima Yellow Top...

I wouldn't touch Kumho's to save my life. I hated every set I had and forgot how terrible they were till I took tommy's Suby for the day and pushed the car slightly. The tires gave up WAY too quickly.... They fucking suck dick!!!!

I know! Would you consider any other battery that is available TODAY?
Haha, you'd be surprised at how I was able to keep any sort of traction down at Pine Mountain considering I'm running 2 Fuzion HRI's, 1 ZRI, and a Kuhmo AST. I even expect better from myself...

Ifi remember correctly back when I was into battery research the Sears Diehard batteries were rebranded Oddysey batteries making them an excellent choice. Also the yellow top is a deep cycle battery, meaning it's optimized for aggressive cycling patterns; however, most daily driver's need something which can effectively recharge more efficiently. Red top or the Diehard is probably what I would select if you don't listen to music or any of that stuff with the car in acc.

The yellow top is a bandaid for people drawing too much additional current even WHEN the alternator is doing all the work. If you're not overloading the charging system and deep cycling the battery (which I doubt you are, your two amps combined are probably only pulling around 80A?) then a regular quality startup battery like the red top will be respond better to partial discharge and recharge much quicker. Ultimately you couldn't make a bad choice, but IMO the redtop is a better choice for your needs. If you had some nig sound system with 3 15" and your lights were dimming and stuff like that then it would be a different story.
