You'll get over it. I'm just not in the mood to spend money on gas and food so I can see the same cars that I saw last month.
Nope, not this time...I'm sticking to not spending money.
True true, didn't know you worked there.

I should be out this Friday assuming that the weather is fair and nothing else better comes up.
Weather should be partly cloudy in the 70s

hahaha Its never easy/cheap as they say to do a swap the right way. I seen a complete set of avid racing mounts on ebay for $170ish a couple weeks ago.

I'm a douche and I stress out to easily.......
BTW: LB you getting excited for graduation?
So for those who know what's going on with my damaged wheel, WORK said I could expedite it via AirMail for $150. It MAY arrive just in time for Import Alliance ATL...a gamble if you ask me. Suck it up and wait until the beginning of May, or expedite?
I say just wait, if it doesnt come in time its money wasted..... save the 150 for something else in your car. Then again, if you dont expedite , when is the eta?
Hell yes! I actually applied for graduation this morning. Paid my dues and everything. I don't graduate until December though. I really don't mind graduating a semester late. I only took 12 hours for the first year and never took summer classes. I'd say it's worth it!
May 5 to hit California, then another few days to be forwarded here. It will be right at 2 months of when the wheels originally arrived.
i wanna see a bike get raped. lol
Thats a tough one, i know id like to be flossin on some WORK wheels early, but is 2-3 weeks earlier plus a gamble on if they actually make it in time for IA worth $150. The question you have to ask, i guess do you have a need for that $150in the short term?
For me, im a penny pincher...... id say screw not having them for IA.
i guess we have to figure out exactly how many people are going
Andrew is going to summer IA.
Who's heading this up? It's already cutting it close IMO. Like we discussed on Friday, money up front will weed out who's really going and who isn't. Nominate someone to organize the trip, pick a hotel, get a quote, collect money, pay for hotel. Perhaps we can set this in stone Thursday night?
As a reference, most bikes run low tens or better with Grandma riding them. I ran mid 9's all day long on my literbike, but 120+ is where they really begin to pull hard. I raced hundreds or cars on bikes over the years and was never once beaten, and never gave it more than 75% effort. In 15 years of riding, only two cars ever came within 500 feet of me, a 1000WHP 930 that did 220MPH and a Local C6 Vette Here that was heavily modded. Bikes are very tough to beat, even the 600's. Most sub-11 sec. cars fall on their face at 110 or 120, even an old 600 will take an 11 sec car.
It's been done, but it usually takes a 1000+ HP monster and a shitty rider on a 600.
speaking of spinning tires on a dyno.... here is an old friend of mine back in the day.........

thats awesome. i remember watching that exact video years ago. that set up is crazy
id like to see bacon vs phil, but i doubt bacon will actually do it.
on a side note: summer IA is a waste. its nothing but a Honda fuck fest. i can open up the past 9 issues of honda tuning and see the same crap. shaved bays. wrong fitment. tucked bays. stretched tires. wheels that cost more than the car. "No fat chicks, car will scrape" stickers. its old news and retarded. if one of you guys were actually building something along those lines i may be more interested...
i know there will be other cars there that are probably more up my alley, but im not spending the time and money to go up there....
I've personally watched a local SC'd Camaro SS whoop ass on a R6. The Camaro didnt even make close to 1k whp so it can be done and the rider has been riding for years. I'll post a video of a turbo'd S2K giving a liter bike a good run for it's money once I get back from court.
Id race the 4.6 if you find a secluded road with little to no traffic. Daylight preferably.
