On a side note, I've been waiting a week for this damn bumper. Got the transmission bracket I needed. Just need to get a rear mount through bolt, and figure out why my fans never turn off.
I'll let you know when we start. Expected move in date is March 1st.

They are 15" but they will clear my brakes and I would like to go lower. I am keeping the Focus and modding it since there aren't too many around.
Wheels look good. Just never been a Focus fan. Even the ones with forced induction always seem to only be 13/12 second cars.

There are 3 fan relays, and if I pull them, they turn off. But then again, it's killing the power to the fans.
I have a ton of relays from having 3 other Celicas, but no fan relays.
There's a guy in my apartment complex with a hatch, I'll ask him if I can check relays.
Gotta get my hands on some new wheels. Two tires leak. Trying to find a deal on some 2000-05 Celica GTS wheels so I can paint them white.
I also found a good deal on a complete turbo kit. Trying to talk to the guy now and see the lowest he can go. Retail for 3500+ and he is asking 1300. I want to talk him down more since the turbo needs to be rebuilt and it still needs a couple other things.
There used to be a guy with a turbo'd Focus that would come out to the meets. 3xxhp dont remember for sure. Not sure where he went. Last I heard the Focus went boom.

We opted not to get the Contour so that we could buy more needed things like a TV among other stuff for the apartment. This also saves more in the long run for when we move out and actually get a house.
We decided this together and it was a smart move. I told her I don't mind keeping the Focus and doing a few things to it and rocking it the way it is. She is cool with that.
Now I have to decide on what exactly I want to buy for the Focus. Wheels are priority but since it's a 4x108 bolt pattern my choices are limited. However, the STi reps from Rota (Rota Group A or GR-A) are looking mighty good right now.
Sooooo.....found a bad scratch by the driver's side door.

Just check to see if the relay you have is the same blade setup as the spares and also check to see if same amperage. If so swap them. X1 - X2 are usually the terminals that actuate the relay. Look for power on each relay at those terminals. If there is power at X1 and X2 then you know something is telling the relay to turn on. If not then you know you have a stuck relay. Or even easier just pull each relay and read the stamped schematic on the side and ohm's check it to see if its open or closed.

Sure if im still in GA. Going in for my physical on monday after work and from there It'll just be a waiting game as to when they send me to Oklahoma to start my ATC training. It'll be months and months so you got some time haha.
