Christmas has been cut short. Issues involving my paycheck.
Very short.
Its cool. I was gonna buy my wife a coach bag and some jewelry. I already bought her the new droid. I was also gonna buy wheels, my phone, and some other stuff but I can only get the wheels and the phone.

I have issues with my car too but it's to be expected since my teg is an OBD2 car.
More sensors. OBD2 is more tempermental. OBD2 cars are 96 and newer. With OBD2 cars, they are scanned for emissions instead of using the rollers. Any check engine light and it will fail automatically.
What year is yours? If it's an OBD2 car, was that front end stock?
EDIT: Bumper changed in '97.....disregard the last part of that.
why would someone change out the bumper to the older style?
I want wheels now. Hoping to get my slips this weekend.
I wouldn't know the difference I've tried lookin but google didn't do well
my car handled like a dream today :D....... but i still have the brunt rubber smell :/
You can convert an OBD2 car to OBD1 which is what I plan on doing. I'm not overly fond of OBD2. Had my fare share of that with my Focus.
Dumont, I have come to respect Glock a little more given that I used to carry a S/A XDM .40 as my daily. The Glock is sooooo much lighter. Currently using this Glock 23, I love it. Perfect size to conceal and don't have to worry about the bulk of a full size. Selling it tomorrow and gonna run up to SPD to get my new one since I get a wee small discount.....:ninja:
I thought the 97 was the same as the 01....maybe his is stock.
Tommy, I wants your front lip. :D
damn man that sucks...i love driving too much, id go crazy
you can fool the sensors, or chip the ecu to get rid of them. whats wrong with urs?
a jumper/conversion harness
obd stands for on board diagnostics, when you clear your CEL codes, the module you hook up uses theses specifications/programs to indicate what is going on with your car.
obd0 is 91 and previous, obd1 is 92-95, obd2 is 96-00
gen1 is 96-98 gen2 is 99-00, kinda like with 6th gen civics. the front end changed in 99.
obd1 in civics uses one o2 sensor before the cat and thats it, and is generally lower tech than obd2. as time progresses technology gets smaller, and so did the ecu, circuit boards, and chip sizes. in obd2 the whole emissions craze came into full swing and cars were scrutinized more carefully. in obd2 in civics at least, 2 o2 sensors became the norm and a knock sensor was added that i know of. i have obd2 and had to fool my 2nd o2 sensor since im not running a cat.
i hope this helped. lol
Ross, that last portion seemed like one long ass run-on sentence. What front changed in '99?
ezone, taillights on the integra changed from an amber turn signal to all red. The bumper on the newer models have what appears to be a vent at the bottom of the bumper. Don't worry about your fart can. I am rocking a first gen Apexi N1 axle back on my stock piping. It's a little loud. Come out tomorrow night and you can see/hear it.

College is where my grammar counts, not IA. (better? lol)
In 99 civic front ends the head lights became more pointy at the inner corners, which affected the shape of the hood, fenders, and bumper cover. The bumper cover was given two "slanted slots" as I call them on both sides of the opening under the grill. They are where 99 and 00 civics put their foglights, unlike mine (check my sig). Thats about it. Many 96-98 civic owners convert their front ends to the 99-00 front end (kinda like what you teggys do with your front ends) but have to replace a shit load of parts. hood, fenders, and bumper all painted and installed can cost a pretty penny. civics and tegs changed at different years.
I'm confused about oem, Jdm and years.. How many are diff
