I'll be back out there in a couple weeks and hopefully tap 90+% of the car's potential. I felt that when I left I couldn't really go any faster due to high temps and humidity....
Two of the most homo cars on IAFaggin' Wagon & Queer Kar
then you know exactly what I mean by embarrassingly slow. lol

it depends how the drivers of the car have driven it. its still high but i never said all honda motors are done by then. and u hav a domestic truck with 223k?!?!?!?! i also never said anything bout not rebuilding. i would for sure rebuild/drop a swap.
hey douches
Yes it has 223,000
and nice killin dumont
I will have my vids posted tom. I got all elimination rounds and about half of the test and tune runs. And the srt is in at least four of them but here's a quick pic.
You were right about how slow the Cobalt SS supercharged are. Fastest time i saw was a 15.08.
Gawd thx
I want an srt4 so bad
that one looks good
and i think the first car I'll buy is an srt4
ChrisK - Don't take this the wrong way but do you know how to properly drive a manual? You rev the car to a high rpm and ride the clutch BAD!! You were doing the same thing when you drove KlutchGT's MR2 on Friday night. You shouldn't have to rev over 1500rpm to start from a dead stop. Most of us wouldn't mind showing how it's properly done. Like I said, I'm not trying to be a dick but dude, if you keep this up, you'll be replacing the clutch again real soon.
*grabs popcorn*
Lols
if you wanna real adventure try a manual truck
you get a work out
hard clutch and huge shift pattern
you move your whole arm not just your wrist like you pansies
I kid I kid
Ahem
"The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself."
Dude, I'm really not going to get into it, but you don't know anything about my engine, how it idles, how it revs, how long my gears pull, what my redline is, where I reach fuel cut, etc.
KlutchGT's MR2 has serious clutch slip, and he warned me about it. He drove my car and almost stalled it shifting where he's used to.
I have no problem letting you drive my car and see how different it is. No, it's not a turbo. No, it's not a 500whp engine. We can't all be badasses and drive Evos.
Chris, i dont think he really meant any disrespect by it. I know when I talked to you, you had mentioned that it was because it was a silver top mated to a newer Celica Tranny, thus causing a conundrum of flywheel and clutch mating, which you mentioned maybe 200 pages ago.
ChrisKM
FYI: There were a number of people goofing on your manual-driving skills that night............. You could kinda smelll clutch 2-3 minutes after you left...................
I tried to be as level-headed as possible, but it seriously irritates me when people tell me I'm driving wrong when they haven't driven what I drive daily.
The 4AGE20V is a high rev engine. It idles at or above 1k. VVT kicks in at 3500+. The damn 1000 page Toyota Big Green Book says optimal shift is between 6000-7500rpm.
I tried to take care of my motor. The problem it has is likely something simple. I don't wanna have to keep putting bandaids on an older motor so I am doing my swap. The mileage on your car is not bad at all. Even though your newer car has more miles than my older car, it isn't bad.
Hondas can go a while, a legend guy has 402xxx miles on his 95 coupe. So it just proves if you take care of the car it will last a while.
I mean my dads 6spd has 212k or so and it runs like brand new (save the damn clutch safety switch sometimes malfunctioning not letting it start.)
BTW:
Yall are invited if you want to come out on may 22nd!
I don't need to know what your fuel cut, rev limit, etc. is to properly pull away from a dead stop. From the sound of the engine, I'd guess you were around ~3k rpm when letting off the clutch. Letting off the clutch at ~1500-2k at most is more than adequate.
Who ever said my car was badass? My post was simply about driving a manual. There's no need to get all up in arms about it, I was just simply stating that we'd be more than happy to teach you a few things if you want? Nothing wrong with that.![]()
