Yup, actually rides pretty well. Did great down to panama city and daytona beach. Just gotta get a couple things handled on the rear and it should be another inch and a half lower in the rear. Should be tucking half my tire.Quote:

You know what you're doing, huh? I hate transmissions. I had to tear one down at school and rebuild it. NEVER doing it again. I had so many left over parts and needle bearings everywhere.
I do all work on my car myself, but if a my tranny craps out on me, I'm replacing...not rebuilding.
i hope that gear was covered under warranty.
That really does suck. Never seen a counter shaft shred to pieces like that.

This car hunt is getting irritating.
Is it so much to ask for, to get a car that looks nice, is an automatic, and can handle 100 miles a day?
I'm thinking about saying fuck it and buying another 90-93 celica, even though I don't want 2. A 94-99 vert, yes, but I only have $3k.
Atleast if a celica breaks down, I have all the tools and manuals to fix it.
As soon as we get a new car, I can park mine and build it up for turbo.
Chris, I am in the same boat as you. Sold the 240 and have $3K to blow on either another car or blow it on mods for the focus like a JRSC or something.....too many choices.
