What's with all the white cars?
I'll post this one, 'cause it's local and I've sat in it (Captain wouldn't let me drive it, but I could sit in it. )
Be prepared
I had to do it
^sad thing is, i can't stop looking at it, lol. It's one of those things you wanna stop looking at but you just can't help but to look and stare.
I can't stop thinking about it and laughing
It's probably creeping a bit because of the catless up pipe. When I went to a catless set up, i had to replace a restrictor pill in one of my hoses going to the turbo. I would not recommend upping the boost without proper engine management, as you could really mess it up. These motors are finicky like that. I run a Cobb Accessport, but most any engine management will work for it. You find people are hardcore dedicated to certain brands of engine management, so it's up to you lol.

See you all on Friday
Back to being stock and slow
Anyone wanna come help me line up the spline to put my tranny back on?
That son of a bitch just doesn't want to work with only one person.
Ultimately, Cobb Accessport is where I'm headed. Fortunately, with the 02-03 cars the ECU takes kindly to a MBC, moreso than th 04-05s and definately better than the 06-07 "Hawkeyes" like yours. Its my understanding the the ECU is able to accomodate up to 17psi at WOT without any tuning solution. I fall below this range (max boost of 16.4 in fifth gear and it drops lower in every gear- approximately .5-1psi per gear)
The problem with a MBC arises when you start running a high boost level at part throttle. The ECU compensates, but it has the potential to run borderline unsafe lean and consequently very high cylinder temps. I'm doing two things to compensate for this, one running one step colder iridium plugs, and two keeping an eye on my boost gauge. If i start to see more than 8-9psi at very low throttle, I usually go ahead and downshift just to try and avoid extremely lean A/F ratios.
On a side note the CEL was from when I installed my TT yesterday morning, I hooked it up to the vehicle speed sensor wire at the ecu, but lacked the time to solder it and it came undone. After school I found an Autozone and got the code, borrowed some tools, bought some tape and fixed it on the spot.
Now I just need to install my front lip and finish cleaning it up. Joe? you ther? Oh, Joe?!?! lol

Invest in a WB 02 sensor and gauge. It'll save you a lot of money one day.
I know. I just figure I can put that money towards a cobb accessport and not have to worry about it as much, but then again it'd still be a good idea to have one.
You halfway recommended one to me last week. I don't remember which one you said

Factory wideband O2 ftw!
Factory warranty inhibitting higher performance ecu tuning FTL. Can't have your cake and eat it too eh Bryan? lol
Just out of curiosity, what is the difference between a wideband and narrowband????

Thats why I said higher instead of high. I know there's the factory stg one, but its not as good as the HP Tuners?
Your looking at a rich double chocolate cake but eating stale vanilla wafers. lol

It better not be cold on friday! im not sure if me and jey are coming yet, we are going to the atl, it 3 year anniversary weekend! although it was really yesterday.
Lol.. I wouldn't consider a bump of 70 wheel tq a vanilla wafer. It is for sure not what you can get from HP tuners.. But they are starting to pop motors running 30psi on a stock turbo/motor.. Go figure.. haha
