Phil - I wanna run the SVT Cobra. If I were to ever buy one (which I have considered in the past, it would definitely have to be competition orange). I really like that color.

IIRC, my car is like a low 13 sec. car stock. I am down about 500 lbs, up about 100HP, so who knows. Math would say 12's. 80MPH to 180MPH is where it shines. But, traction is a big problem now. Controlled electronically and Trac. Control Comes on instantly and until about 60-80. Turn it off and it pounds the rev limiter. I hope it gets better when it warms up.
Those Cobras are monsters though. My buddy has one that is stupid fast with bolt ons. :bump:

Jason, Steve and whoever else-If the weather is nice my buddy will bring out the Cobra to the meet on Friday but I can say im 99% sure he wont run you on the street. Right now it only has a CAI but its still very peppy. It wont stay this stock for very long I can promise you that. He should be handing me my own ass in no time haha.

Like billy said a good polish will do wonders. While it wont remove most acid rain marks (and hard water spots) it will greatly reduce the look. Also using a glaze after you polish will help fill those acid rain marks then topping with a good wax will also help.
Clay for me only works on hard water marks (when it leaves deposits) otherwise clay wont do anything for the etching because its below surface.

An old AF friend of mine has an '03 thats running 10.5's right now with a small bit of work. Fucking things a beast! The last motor he had in it was putting down 671 RWHP on only 7 cylinders. Had some major problems with that one on the dyno and ended up having to tearing it back down and going with his current combo.
If I make it out to the meet on Fri it will prob be in one of my daily drivers as I dont think the shitbox will be done by then. I still gotta put the dash back in, finish up some more wiring and bleed the brakes. But I totally understand the street thing. Not too many streets around the Newnan area where we could get it done at right now that would give us some decent traction.
I see,the only thing that i really dont like is no power windows or locks but i would try and get those converted to power later on probably. If i kept the teg i would just end up getting a swap done so either way ill end up swapping the engines most likely. I really dont like the paint on my teg so thats one of the reasons im thinking about trading as well. Im still on the fence though,so we'll see.
