It's gonna be real close if I can make it to this Fridays meet. I just went to hook up my new spindles to the Tie rod ends and realized my damn inner tie rods are too short and I need to get the SN95 length ones and not the Fox Body length ones. Oh well whats another $50? All I have left is re-wire the alternator and Starter, Fill the trans, Inner and outer tie rods/ends, alignment, reinstall the fuel tank and move the sway bar lower mounts. Hopefully the shitbox will be on the road Friday afternoon and I can get it to Bryan's for the meet.

Nope, but you can get one at the pull-a-part in conley for next to nothing. I had an extra 351W long block but I gave it to a buddy of mine a little while ago.

If you need any help putting one together when you do it let me know.

im a chevy man through and through,but might try the 302/T5 stuff

The 302 and T5 are an excellent combo and be put together for next to nothing. Plus the aftermarket support is through the roof.

Most reputable body shops will do it.

well im gonna be doing a carbed 302,built with stock parts...with a 600 carb and air gap intake.

i always liked 302 motors,just not the cars they came in:D

Any reason why you don't want to go EFI? Look up EFI Swaps on google. It's extremely easy.

reason im going with 302 over 350,because of the size and the dizzy on the front of the ford is very good thing.

IMO I would stay with EFI if your planning on keeping it stock. Driveability is a huge thing and trying to dial in a carb and keep it there can be a PITA. I have to get mine Dynoed whenever I decide to get the A/F Mix checked. With the EFI you can plug in with a cheap ass laptop and change everything if you buy the correct program ---> Tweecer. Which I planon doing for my next "Mod". I will be dumping the Carb setup and going EFI just for tunability and driveability.

You can get a 5.0L out of the pull-a-part for $190 with everything from pan to intake and all of the sensors and harnesses. If you forego the warranty (which is if its bad you pull another) its $170.

ZEN Motors isn't local but they have rolled quite a few evo ix's, evo x's and sti's fenders in the last couple of weeks. Top notch work.

I called Southern Customs and they had no clue what I was talking about. Then called Allspeed, and they said they don't offer body work.

Looked up ZEN, its a 70 mile drive one way :(

Nah, they told me to call "peachtree paint and body"

I called, and they said to call back at 1 when the owner comes back or seomthing.

I looked on CL and that guy has no contact info whatsoever or maybe i'm blind.

yea man,i get what your saying,i just know lot more bout carbs and such...and since this will be a custom job,any thing that is familer is nice...lol

u know where a pull apart is,and gonna need a good T5 too.

Yeah I am making a comeback. Don't post much anymore because IA just isn't what it used to be.

I came out there friday and I was a little dissapointed. I don't like the fact that it is a little segregated. I wanted to go up and just say hi to everyone, but I didn't want to intrude and I felt akward. I am not used to it being that way at meets. I might come back out tomorrow, but since I have to get up so early for tunerfest on sat. more than likely I won't.

There is a couple around. www.pullapart.com and I believe there is one in fairburn on Hwy 29.

As for the T-5 it is possible to use a 4 cyl trans but If you can find a V8 T5 youd be better off.
