Ok.. So I'm in search of a new apartment.. As much as I like peachtree city.. Close to $1000 a month for a one bedroom is just too damn much. Anyone have any suggestions on specific apartments that are fairly nice but still inexpensive? I would like to stay under $750/month and would prefer something more towards newnan. Thanks in advance! ..and yes I know I could buy a house for a damn good deal.. but that's not what I want right now
The ones behind Walmart?
My cousin had an apartment there for 2-3months before heading to Maryland.
It was when they were just built, bunch of nice folks were living there then and obviously there were no issues since everything was new. The pool facilities was super nice.
A few of my employees all live in Lullwater At Calumet, its on the 34 bypass.
I believe they all pay around $750, not the newest apartments but I haven't heard any complaints. Management has fixed any issues they've had.
After reading some reviews of the ones behind Walmart (Villas at Newnan), I'd steer clear.
Don't even consider Lakeside Apartments over behind Carmike.
There's always drama there (robberies, shootings, ect)

Lullwater is supposed to be decent and I stayed at Preston Mill when i first moved down here in 2001. I think I payed around that for a one bedroom. If you do decide to go to preston mill let me know before you go as I know the Manager there and might be able to get you a better deal.Quote:

Kind of a long shot, but would anyone like to go to Deal's gap on the first weekend of August? Maybe get a couple of cars to caravan up there and grab a lodge for a night and attempt some runs. I have a friend that we can stop by on Friday in Athens if need be to crash for the night.
One problem boby: I'm not spending the night. I'd do a whole day trip but not spending the night. I don't want to hear anybody bitch about my driving!
