any D series head swaps.. and knew how much they paid for all of it.

Do you have to pull the rotating assembly out to change the piston rings? If it's not evident already I know Zero about import engines.

On a domestic to pull the pistons, you have to remove the rods and sometimes the crank. Therefore you need to change all of the bearings on whatever you pull.

That's why I was assuming you'd be buying bearings as well.

He always drives an hour from where he lives to ptc to hang out with me before the meets and I asked him if he wanted to go eat before and he said no. I don't wanna be a bitch and be all "Well, you're gonna go whether you like it or not!" I'M NOT WHIPPED! I promise. I'm a strong independent woman!!

I actually just talked to him about it, and he's not even gonna be off work at 6:30...plus, it's a 45 minute drive from where he works to Newnan or something like that. We'll see.

If it was a rod bearing more than likely it would be rattling even at idle. I'm not saying they always do, but everytime I've seen bad rod bearings they've always rattled at idle as well.
