Idk...I was too horrified to look at the moment, and I'm waiting for it to cool down outside. Whether it starts up tomorrow or not, an inspection is in order.Originally Posted by Homer Simpson

daggum...
me sorry
Honsetly never heard or seen a porsche breaking down. First time for everything, huh?!
Let us know what the deal is then report back.
Gracias.
A porsche will break down if you put my brother in it lol I don't think it's anything...probably just some stupid fluke.
Not too worried
danny has been member of the month for about 7 months now.
and he doesn't even have the jetta anymore!!
...I should have it.

dude tommy, I could see you rocking that thing!
Bring it out friday!
Looks mint!
btw, what lens were you using, mr. harris?
ha thanks. im going to try to bring it out friday if i can get my license on thursday. i love it that thing. took it out for a quick test ride down my street. its an 09 iron 883. only 3000 miles on it. some guy just traded it back in thursday to the harley shop on hwy 16. good price with a couple upgrades, couldnt pass it up.
i was using my 50mm F/1.8. cool little lens. heres a couple others....
Congrats on the Iron 883.
I almost picked one up right after I sold my '07 R6.
MY buddy and I wanted to buy together, we couldn't work a deal with the guys at the HD dealership so we walked.
I'll be back later the year to get one - we'll have to get together and ride.
Might I ask what you picked it up for?
Are you taking the MSF? Previous riding experience?
As much as I would enjoy a bike, there are just too many distracted *cough*woman*cough* drivers that would hit you in a sec. A friend of mine, which happens to race motocross, was seriously injured a couple weeks ago while riding through some mountains in Mississippi; drunk driver drifted into his lane coming from the opposite direction, hit head on at 60mph and left the scene of the accident. He's probably the best rider I've met and this has forced him to retire his hobby.
Nice bike Tommy but please be careful out there. I'm sure you've heard the ol' saying, ride like someone is out to kill you.
^^ agreed. I rode a bike for the first time a few months ago and quickly realized how dangerous it could be if taken to the streets. Only way I would ride would be on Road Atlanta
Nice bike and safe travels.
If you want a safer bike, get an s2000 :P
Yip, they are a HOT item this year. Good move for HD for sure.Originally Posted by Humphries

$7,899 + tax + fees = great price for this bike.

after everything, right under 8. i grew up riding dirtbikes, and rode friends streetbikes. this is the first real bike i have owned. i signed up for the riders edge course up at HD. 4 day course then take the documents up to dmv and i get my license. sucks that i wont be able to take it until july 9th. i went into HD around january and they had a bone stock iron sitting in the front. i fell in love with it then. they were running a special if you bought it during certain months, trade it in and get all your money back. someone bought it, put only 3000 miles on it and traded it in. so this was the exact same bike i saw a few months ago with a couple little things done. they havnt even put it on the floor yet. def wouldnt take long to sell. i was looking at nightsters since i couldnt find any irons but was just a little to much for me.Originally Posted by r0bb86
Man, I wish I could have a bike. We used to have 2 dirtbikes back when we lived in California and then my dad bought a HD when we moved out here and sold the dirtbikes...and then the Harley. I'd probably kill myself on one though. It looks nice though
I took my MSF (Riders Edge) course there last year.
Its a great time, you'll love it. I also rode dirt/quads my whole life and made the move over to street last year. Love it but sadly I don't get much time to ride.
I took it when we had those snow flurries and crazy winds.
Our class nearly got canceled due to the bad weather but everyone said they just want to get it over with. Since I was the only one with previous motorcycle experience they put me at the very end of the group. I was basically a wind breaker for everyone else. I had a great time though.
Congrats again, whenever I manage to get a deal on one.. we'll get together for a ride.
Oh, hope they still get that trailer grill in to make burgers for the riders edge guys on Saturdays. Those burgers kick ass!
EDIT: I received an award for "Most likely to accelerate", haha.
nice bike man, i need to get another one soon anyway. i miss mine
yea they always say rain or shine. my dad took his about 3 months ago. it was pouring the whole time. hopefully weather will be alright, definitely going to be hot though. they are almost done building an extra small building for the saturday cookouts. havnt been to one yet.Originally Posted by r0bb86
Congrats on the bike Tommy! Makes me think of something a Nazi would ride, hahaha.

why are you up at 4am?!
Ugh. I need a job....
yea i was on the way back from the dmv. got my motorcycle "learners" today. been crusing around all day ha. im not going to be able to bring it out tomorrow night though. working until about 11 or so and then was going to go straight over there if not to late.Originally Posted by jeysjdm
