A good place to potentially meet up is Shorty Howell Park over off exit 104 near Gwinnett Place Nissan. Good bit of parking there and as long as it isn't rented out for a party there are grills.Quote:

LOL I got held up. I passed you on the dirt road... I was in the big F-ing truck that almost ran you over, and you still didn't stop. Looked like it was winding down when I got there. Some nice old iron... Lotta work ahead.:goodjob:Quote:

Great turnout for the meetespecially considering the weather. bythe time we left at 8:30 43 old skool cars came by. Rx x 3--Daaayuum--awesome car if you got to see this car in person you were lucky. This car was built over ten years ago, and hasn't been out on the streets in years. Roland, I'm glad ya'll woke this sleeping beauty up. The color is right!
Morgan racing, building bada$$ Old skool Toyotas since they were new! That sr5 peanut Corollla, factory flares, no rust, a built 3tc, and about to get painted. What a rare car. These two cars were my favorite of the cars that showed up. Thanks everyone for making this possible...now for the next time.........I'm not certain, and I'll try to find out, but I think the mazda meet at Road atlanta is going to be "make friendly" It should be a good time and a great place for fun and pictures. http://www.mazdameets.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=30
dont forget get the supra with the digital dash, great turn out. Team Zero on deck....
Omg. 240Z+RB25+Sergio=Sickkk burn out. Dude, that car was fastQuote:

Yeah, The Maxima was sweet. The conflict I was having was putting it on this thread. The Skyline well it's a Skyline. I like how clean your Maxima was. I could only imagine how slow you had to be moving to keep it clean down the dirt road.:D
so this one was great. when is the next one?
I agree, it was great. Maybe, sometime around August we can put something together. I know you took some awesome photos. You gonna post'em up?Quote:

yeah! Some dimes coming together. It seems like there are alot of guys with 510's on IA, but they are apart, and in process. I know of 5 IA guys with 510's that aren't on the road right now. whtdc2 has a nice 510, waiting on an engine swapp, and for me to do some body and paint work, Lex has the mystery 510, Baby J gotta 510 along w/his cool 'lil honda civic. This could be a good year for 510's and other O/S cars
I drove mine from Sacramento to Indianapolis - other than the heat in the western states, it drove like a dream. I drove it around Indianapolis for a few weeks and then it was a apart w/ plans for the sr20 - then I blew up my EF, then bought a 91 Notch (stang), then a 1st gen Civic ---- and it fell behind. But this old school resurgence has me hungry to get it back together. I plan to bring it out at the next old school meet. :) For a long time I thought me and BTLFED were the only 2 510 (2 doors) in ATL.... in the last month I realized this was far from the truth.
Is that even a GTR?
not originally, but GT-R conversion and it has a single turbo RB26 in it running through the 5spd so it's got GTR power and looks, just not AWDQuote:

I have 2 510 wagons but they are a long ways from being in the road, I'm taking the body and putting it onto an early toyota truck frame and then bodydropping the floorpan, baggin' it, the full minitruck treatment. It should be cool. But first the bosozoku 1974 corona mark II. I'm gonna start a thread about, Old skool projects whats out there?
here's the link to the project thread. http://www.importatlanta.com/forums/...d.php?t=179778
Post'em up!
Right now QD and Stormhammer are talking about the next meet having Brit-ish cars and all old skool imports at the next meet.
Here is my reply. The Brit-ish cars have two or three shows a year around hearm there are all vw and german only shows. I think we should keep the Jap only motif.
If the weather had of been good and some poeple had there cars on the road and not apart we could have almost ran out of parking, I counted 43 O/S Jap cars and this was the first one. 43 cars is an awesome turnout for ths genre of cars. I also know of 19 cars that did not come because they thought the weather as going to be too bad. Keep it Jap only.
I never said the next meet. I just said Id like to see it happen. Later, QD.Quote:

you have pm
I understand what y'all are talking about, but unless someone fronts money to reserve a place to park cars in sections, or hold at least 200 cars for free. The turnout would probably be100 to 150 cars and probably a nearly equal # of spectators. More cars than even the lower dam park could hold without reserving the whole park. If that can even be done. 43 cars plus all of the non-O/S cars that showed just to spectate was close to 100 cars I'm sure. If we do an all inclusive show, where do you guys suggest?Quote:

Dave - why not talk to either Commerce ( Atlanta Dragway has HUGE HUGE HUGE parking lots ) or AMS?
LMK when you get some more meets together John or Dave, or I guess I'm not invited because I'm not old school again yet huh?
