I've never been to NOPI, sorry, but I'm wondering what is all this parking color stuff...Also I dont want to enter the show, but I was wondering if were the spectators park, is there people that kinda stay around their cars so you can go talk to people about it and stuff like that...I just wanna park somewhere with other modded cars and just kinda hang out with people...Can you do this?

^^this is the parking grid, the colors come from here

for what you wanna do I'd suggest you park in the green or white.register under car show, and enter in a class, then you should be able to select a parking spot.hurry up if you want the early bird price it ends 9/1/05

yea, that's one of the reasons i'm entering. as shity as some the cars, i figured my car would half look way desent in conparision. and it's cheaper to enter a car early, than to pay for tickets for two people and walk around for two days. besides, you can bring a cooler in your car and fill it. it's like $4 for a lemonade in the show.

haha thanks, thats a good plan...someone said earlier to park in the green lot/white lot, so i went to the NOPI site, and tried to register, you dont get to pick what lot so i dont know what to do... The only thing i could pick was 00+ V6 Eclipse Street...

Ive got a question though, on the "Pre checklist" thing they included it says to put on the Nopi Sticker (not the parking pass, that big black and red one they send 2 of), is that REQUIRED or are they just trying to get a Nopi sticker on your car? I mean if i have to I dont really care, but id rather not if i didnt have to. I know i need the parking pass on, but what about the other one?

yea, I think you have to. just put it on and then after the show scrap it off.

Lets just put it this way..... If you fail to have that Nopi sticker on your ride, your chances for placing decrease 10 fold. I have failed to have it on my car for the last two years and got nada.... Won;t make that mistake a 3rd time. THere show their rules and yes it does remove witha razorblade if you put it on GLASS! (Which should be the only place for them)

i guess it doesnt really matter, i though it closed later than 8, i guess i can wait until then to leave, actually scrap that idea, i dont want to be sitting there for 8 hours trying to get out, so ill probly leave around 7'ish...

I guess its going on the car then...You can always go to Michaels and get this stuff called "Cling Vinyl" then back the sticker with that, it basically clings to any flat surface as oppsed to sticking to it, and no one would know its there. Then when the show is over it just peals right off. I have it on my parking pass at school so I can remove it for shows and such.

ok the sticker is actually like vinyl i have had them on my car for the past 3 yrs and they peel right off. you can put them any where but you have to have them on your car or you WILL NOT but judged. as long as they see that they are both someplace on you car they dont care. i always put them on the back 2 windows and i have left them on for days and they peel right off with out a mark. i do reccomd putting them on your windows though.

I won 3rd place with my cavy last year so good luck. theres not a lot of non riced ones at the show so you have a good chance of placing.
