Just came back from the show after spending about two and a half hours looking at booth babes and of course, cars'Twas great except that the best cars were cordoned off.
Anyhow, I clicked a truck load of pics .. lookout for a new thread in the pics section!
Here are some tips for those planning to check out the show later today or next week:
1. Wasting $10 bucks for parking is a waste of time and money. Did you ask how its a waste of time? Well, you gotta walk .. walk like a donkey. Street parking is available in Marigold St. that's right across the entrance to Hall C. There were 15 odd cars parked there, including 3 of my friends. Since that particular intersection is quite crowded, there is a close to zero probability of some mofo gangsta wannabe messing with your car. I left my Miata's top open .. no problems at all.
2. The first hall right after entering the show where most of the action is - IS-F, GTR, Camaro, Challenger, ZR1, electrics/hybrids, HUMMERS (for ya SUV fans) etc. The second hall is primarily for classics (Challenger, Camaro, NSX) and exotics (Ferraris, Lambos, Astons)
3. Refreshments are a complete waste of dough. We took our own bottles of water.
4. No credit cards. Cash only at the main ticket booth. There is a very small booth to the left that takes debit/check cards.
That's all for now.
