Word of advice, if you take your Jon Boat out to the lake and you only have a trolling motor, make sure you have a spare battery. Mine went dead about a mile away from the marina. paddling in a 14ft jon boat in the middle of Lake Oconee FTMFL

We had to do that in a 21 ft. Regal Valanti deep V hull but we didn't have paddles. Yeah you think you had it rough??? We had to use ski's to paddle with for over 1/2 mile before someone came along and gave us a tow inward.

As primative as can be.
