I just went up and it was pretty busy for a Tuesday afternoon with bikers and other travelers. One cop passed us on our way downhill, I'm surprised he didn't turn around.
There were construction crews at the base cleaning up and surveying, hopefully they aren't planning on starting something this weekend.
Honestly I am not too happy with my new Falken Ziex's but I did try push them into turn's hard with less than 100 miles on them so I'm sure they will be better once broken in, hopefully by this run.

very long there is different ways. i say all the fwd cars ride together and rwd and awd ride with each other. noway can no fwd car keep up with a rwd on that mountain

considering the forgivingness of FF platforms if you outrun me personally in a rwd car in a comparible FF car you need to pack up and leave our group before you swing it off a cliff or meet me at the track.
Meeting place is off wal-mart off 985. 10A.M. Sunday the 13th. Considering it's up 985 and down some back roads..its the perfect place to meet.
Where is 985? I am already on 400 and a straight shot from the mountain so I guess I will meet you guys somewhere along the way

be careful up there. I was with some other 350z's up there last Sunday. Fuggin every 5 minutes we were slowing down to pass cyclists hogging the damn road practicing for the Tour de GA. When we finally caught some clear roads we opened it up some. . . right past a freaking Federal officer going the opposite way in an SUV. We were doing about 80 on a straight. He turned around and i didn't know it so we kept going. . .I slow up 15 min. down the road for some Harley riders and then hear sirens and lights. He pulled both of us over. He said he did 100 mph for 4 miles to catch up. . .if the bikers had not been in the way he woulda never come close. 75mph in a 45= $275 fine.

So, this is on Sunday instead of Saturday but the first post still says Saturday. I've already found one person thinking it was still Saturday.

Roads are nice, ive been on 2 runs this week. BTW FF cars can easily do as well in the mountains as RWD cars, depending on how they are setup. Its not a handicap or a blessing either one.
and to the dude with the ziex, sucks for you they ****ing blow. ive got about 2,000 miles on mine and im about to throw them away. they are complete junk.
im sorry how many FF do you that a "setup" let alone "setup" for a good road course i.e. mtn run? ive yet to see any FF "setup" to run.

are you planning on going up 985 and cutting across to 400 around gainsville or going over to cummings on 20? im still no driving to the east side of lake lanier just to drive up 985 to come back across. think mang. why dont we all meet at the walmart at exit 14 on 20 in cummings @10:30. or come up with two meets then meet up at the homedepot at the end of 400?

What's up fellas. I will go on SUN 13th. My plan is to meet up at North Ga premium outlet and riding up 400 to 60 through Suches onto 180 through brasstown bald aka blood mountain. Its an awesome route up to Helen and then we could all have lunch at the margarita deck in Helen. They have good food on the low. Would yall be intrested in rolling over to the Premium outlet mall at GA400 and be there at 10:30-10:45ish? I've done this route several times with another group and it good times.
i'll be at walmart. Anyone down for hwy runs

i know of three off the top of my head, the good driver mod helps.
setting the suspension up for a road course is different than a mtn. run.
no really it has turns and higher/quicker elevation changes. ok different tramack... woho..
