I would like to go and practice some photography, what do you have to do to ride along? I see the payment, but I assume that you should know someone who wants to bring you along. Can I get in with somebody to get some pictures?

well the ride along is just basicly you pay 10 bucks and then you pretty much ask anyone if you can ride. most people will let you. its a cool experence, but yeah most people will want a video taper in the car. its good footage.i dont have a problem with giving anyone a ride. but im not sure how you get a media pass but the track isnt very big so you will have a pertty close spot.

Guys definetly show as much love as possible for this event..The last event was sold out and just awesome...This event will be the first of its kind and the only one ever brought to georgia...

Remember its a night event, so bring your light game..

If your interested in media passes I must see some previous work in night form..I mean night shots possibly of some moving cars..Last event no media was allowed in the infield...The out parts are perfect..There really is no need for an infield position, but if you dso want to just send me pics and we can go from there to get approved..

Thanks for all the support..See you guys in a few weeks..

Lots of reading so I will ask and see what you say and ask again maybe.

    1. Can I get a "media pass" and get closer to the action? Never shot a "night drift event". If not how close can I get if I decide not to drive?

    2. Any noise ordiance?

    3. What if I never ever drift and I really really really suck(Sorry I feel more at home at Road Atlanta)?

    4. Rules/Regs with a 4 point cage? IE Padding, Harness, etc?

    5. How far away is this from Atlanta? North or South?

    1. Email Marcos his address in the info. To make it easier send an example or two.
    2.
    3. Ask experienced drivers for ride alongs to critique your driving

For those curious about ridealongs, pretty much anyone out there doesn't mind letting riders in their car. I never mind. Just ask.

It doesn't matter what you look like out there. Theres plenty of people that would help you out if you want it and if not just get your car out there, roast some times and have a good time! We all give much respect for fellow drivers regardless of skill...

    1. Yes, contact Marcos.

    2. I'd like to say no within reason... Just make sure to have a safe exhaust system. (this will have to be confirmed by Marcos)

    3. Just as others said, It doesn't matter how skilled you are. There are tons of us out there that have been in the same position and are more than willing to help in any way that we can. These events cater to both beginners and advanced drivers.

    4. I believe as long as the cage is structurally safe you are good to go. We do not require cages to run solo or tandem

    5. Its south. Check the flyer for web site which has the address... Exit 104 on 75.

I really want to do it, would need to find some tires and need 2 extra wheels, I have 2 of them but would want 2 more.

Only have slicks mounted since it is "grip season"

I would also suck a fat one for sure! I only slide when I get a little over zealous in a corner haha

Cordeles surface is pretty smooth and easy on the tires. I ran a set of used rears all day there and then drove home on them no problem. But thats going to depend a lot on power and more importantly driving style. Two sets of rears is smart.

As far as tech goes the process only take 5-10 minutes at the track. Just read the inspection list. I would think if it passes at RA you shouldnt have any issues.

Road Atlanta/BMWCCA requires a pre-event tech that is much more involved than the drift tech

Was just wondering if I can have my guys take care of it beforehand.

Just sold 4x 235.40.17 es100's that would have been perfect...

    So now the search begins...
