I know they could've retired long ago... and at age 18 I probably pull in more income then Nemsis going to school and instructing for Richard Petty. I don't need my paretns money, nor are they in any way affiliated with what I do or know anything about "cars" other than attending a timed track days to take pictures. My first car was a 1971 Volkswagen Beetle. I payed in cash. You can assume my career put me in my current $11,000 payed off beast. This would include the detail company I started and since sold the clientell to a friend as well as the auto-broking I do on the side.Originally Posted by HypnoToad

Well I can vouch for the Petty job and I know everytime he helps Autohaus sell a car he signs up for a bunch more track days that day.....Originally Posted by M5 LITE
Well I didn't see how advising him to get a good paying job to buy nice/new things is talking crap. That's the first thing you posted about and I don't think he was making a fool out of himself by saying that either.Originally Posted by M5 LITE

So your adviceto a 18 year old is to get a real job that "pays a good bit of money" that way he can afford a new mustang or something of the sort??
Haha, no doubt. I'm watching a movie right now too. So it's all fun and games.Originally Posted by M5 LITE
