Once it is started it should supply it's own power, just like a car/truck it has a charging system also. Hm if ya ever care for us to take a peek at it let me know. I don't mind at all and maybe we can figure something out for ya so you don't have to pay a shop to do it.
its a really old one and id never take it to a shop. hell im one class away from having an associates in automotive technology, but i just dont feel like going back for it
