I've managed to go almost every year - but almost always was in a RX7. This is the first year where I don't have one at all to bring - unless I get the old white FC up and running. It hasn't been on a track since 01.Originally Posted by NevrNufTorq

Standard NHRA rules apply.Originally Posted by TS240
Quicker than 14.00 and you need a helmet and no passengers is the main rule they enforce.
There are Roll cage rules as well. 11.49 and quicker "needs" a roll cage.
If the battery is located in the cabin, it must be in a certified battery box and you "need a master shutoff switch on the rear of your vehicle."
The net is the best place, but if time constraints are an issue then any motorcycle shop will get you a helmet that is permissable for drag racing. For the occasional recreational dragger, that's the easiest and least expensive way to go.Originally Posted by TS240

Just borrow someone's motorcycle helmet and register....save your money and spend it on race gas there.....![]()

So is space limited to 25?
No.. I guess it was just a random number chosen to show there are still spots available.Originally Posted by BannanaFTW
Okay, I'd love to come down, I'm only 18 and this will be my first track day.
I'm going to bring a few people with me, is there a way to register without a forum handle?
just use "BannanaFTW" as your forum handle.Originally Posted by BannanaFTW
11.49 or faster you need a cage?? wtf!!!!! lololol ill be lucky as hel! to be there running anyway but will deff be there drinking some cold as$ beer with ch@dbee![]()
I think that's the rule everywhere if I'm not mistaken.Originally Posted by MIKE.P
As for the beer.....it is only allowed IF you share with the event organizers and pretty girls. The event organizers because they're the organizers and the pretty girls in hopes they gets nekid.....![]()

Pre-registration ends THIS WEEKEND, Sunday at midnight.
Don't forget that pre-registering is cheaper than paying at the event, and comes with a t-shirt!
Come on people....I know yall are procrastinators, but damn!!!!
You get to race all day until you get tired for $25???? Come on, it don't get any cheaper than that. They usually also have the scales open, so you can stop that arm chair mag racing guessing about how heavy or light your car really is. They also have several grades of race fuel available to keep you from grenading your stuff.
Come on.....isn't this where I hear people complaining all the time that there are not enough places to race so they HAVE TO street race????? Here you are with a chance to do it w/o losing your license. Don't pass it up.
Word? Word!
I guess I will make plans to come to this one
