I'm fvcked you guys. Whopper of a speeding ticket on the way home from work this evening.

See, that's what I'm wondering about. The cop told me very clearly that the citation was for speeding only. Is reckless driving a separate charge or does it just become reckless driving in addition to speeding when it's over a certain speed?
I also asked him point blank if I'll lose my license. He said no, plain and simple. This will be 4-6 points, and you have to have 12 to have your license suspended. He told me to just call the number on the back of the ticket to pay the fine or go to the court date if I want to. He acted like it was so minor...29 over is a friggin' lot. If what he's saying is true, that's great, but I can't imagine getting off that easily.
I've been hearing some horror stories from other people since it happened a few hours ago. A little worried now.
Yeah I had to ditch it in the shop where I work. I pulled out of my driveway and locked the ebrake, boiled the fronts. Continued down the road maybe an 8th of mile and there were 2 cops, they saw me, and heard me. They try to get me for awhile, I go through cut through roads, dirt roads, running from them. I finally got away, and ditched in the shop. been there since it happend. Those same cops, are always sitting up there, and have gotten word that they were just waiting for me anytime. So I am waiting until it all dies down. My buddy knows one of the cops, and talked to him about it. Apparently, they are just fawking with me. Cops like Supertroopers for real. So I am trying to see if it's going to be a joke. Oh well.

ive gotten 26 over before in sc and it wasnt a big deal for me just paid the fine and asked for a reduction in points or whatever else they could help me with
EDIT: now that i think about it ive gotten several tickets where i was doing in excess of 20+ mph over the limit. eventually i learned to slow down
Lol, I don't usually go this fast. I was trying to merge onto 78, and the entrance ramp I was on is also the entrance ramp to 285. There was a line of cars trying to get on 285 coming at me. I nailed it for a minute to try and merge. Bad idea. Cop was sitting right there when I pulled out from behind the car in front of me. Oh well, **** happens. I was bound to get a nasty one eventually.

you will not lose your licence bc i got pulled over last year doing 67 in a 35 they let me pay the fine or do 11hrs of comm. service i took the service and finished it in 5 1/2hrs bc they gave me double time for taking a blower and i didnt even use it.lol so you should be good.
oh yea it was in a school district after i pulled over.
