Mtn Run August 7th- Sunday

Alright everybody! For those that missed yesterdays mtn run here is another for you. Same thing:

Date: Sunday August 7th
Where: N. GA mtns

Meeting places:
A) Chili's in Cumming
go GA400N to exit 14- turn left off the exit- Chili's is located a 1/4 mile off the ramp on the left hand side.
B) Home Depot directly off GA400 across from the Outlet Malls

Times:
A) meet at 10:30 leave from Chili's to go to Home Depot @10:45
B) meet at 11:00 and leave for mtns @11:30

how fast you drive is up to you, but yes a day in the mountains playing in the twisties is what it's all about.

it will be my first time also. do some people drive kinda slow to enjoy the scenery or do most drive to see how well their car can handle? i want to try to see how it handles but then have a relaxed drive parts of the way. anyway i cant wait!

I would think that most drive a mountain road with "enthusiasm"!

Sounds pretty sweet. lived in Marietta whole life and dont think ive ever been up to the mountains. Dang, thats sad. o well

hey im in the same boat as you, 111whp and about 125wtq. althought next year i hope my whp to be around 250 hopefully! *fingers crossed*

I did it with my old anemic 97 Accord Lx 4 cylinder automatic! It's still fun. Just have to learn to maintain speed (safely!) through corners so they don't leave you so bad! I had a hard time then!

Hard to tell since I also posted this on another forum. Numbers seems great as of the last time I checked. Lots of different cars, and sounds like alot of cool people.

Hoping the rain will hold off up north, I think it is.

damn i swear i always have bad luck! the first run i wanted to go on got rained out. then the second one i couldnt take off from work and now this one with rain also!

there were 2 black vettes, an s2000, and a miata, but we decided to not go since it was raining.

damnit!
