    Whats going on everyone? It's been a about a week. i got back from Colombia and I am at work . It looks like there is going to be a good turn out. I signed up to do an autocross at turner field with the scca. it's the 7th of october. if anyone is interested let me know.

    The insurance decided the car was totaled, and the cars at their inspection facility. Im suppose to find out today what the car is valued at today.
    Either way I put a deposit down on an 02 Impreza last Saturday, so I'm either gonna pay all cash this weekend with the insurance check or start payments.

    No just an NA impreza a 2.5 RS to be exact.
    I've wanted an STi ever since I first saw one, but my budget wont allow it. Im hoping I can slowly mod it to be like an Sti eventually leading to a motor swap. Either way I just need a car.
    I test drove it last saturday, it handels great and shifts smoother than any car I've ever driven. I really want it and I hope I can get it this weekend.

    Its an 02 and I think it makes at the wheels what a 240 makes at the crank. When I got into cars my primary interest was drag racing but now I think Im gonna go a different direction.

    Well the insurance called today and offered my dad 3800(cars in my dads name), my dad told him I had 7k in the car(which I do) and they need to offer more. Now my dads saying his lawyers gonna sue the insurance for what the car is really worth so Im screwed at the moment. My reserve on the car is only good til Sat so I think Im not gonna get the money in time. I'll let you know what happens.

    Yea I got a little money for a down payment but it could be a long process and I wont have enough to keep paying the payments. The money I have is left over from a student loan and I kinda need to save it for next semester. When I get a car I can resume search for a part time job and start getting an income again. I just moved to Carrollton a couple months ago to start school and jobs seem far and few between. I'll figure something out, doubt I'll make it to the autox but I'll try to make it to the next one.

    I'd apprecite it but Im gonna to meet a body man this weekend to look at my old 240 not the one that just got totalled. I spun out in my first one and hit a phone poll, I still have it stored at my grandparents house so Im gonna get an estimate on repairing it. Its been a project car ever since the accident and I schedueled this meeting like a mounth ago and forgot about it. Sorry I know it sucks going to stuff like that solo but if a change of events does occur I'll let you know. My dad called me this morning and said the insurance administration was gonna call the insurance and have a talk with them so things might be looking up. The insurance said the damage to my car was like 6400 but they only offered me 3800. The insurance comisioner said that wasnt right and he was gonna give them a call.
