Yea a 5th 2nd drop is gonna be rough on the valve train and the pistons.
I had a moneyshift earlier this year. Redlined second at 9000 and was going for fourth and gripped second. I clutched out pretty quick but not fast enough. I stretched all 8 exhaust valves and 4 intake valves.
