We will probably be tuning the slower cars @ Commerce in the next few weeks but we have the track rented @ Carolina Dragway which is just outside of Augusta on Nov. 24th from 10am til 5pm. and anyone is welcome to come and run what they have.

It is all in the fun!

Look again Sir. She carried the front left for about 40 feet and when she shifted to 2nd it came back up for about another 30 feet.

I have that one setup to keep the front wheels ON the ground!!! Didn't seem to work very well on that pass.

Nah man we hate that track but we go there for quick tunes and shooting for next Friday night.

We were there about a month ago at one of your meets but didn't get to speak to anyone only because I didn't know what any of you drove or what you looked like.

If everything goes right we will be at the meet Monday night and will know for sure then if we are gonna make next Friday night or not.

Remember we run fairly slow at that track especially on the Friday night TNT's.

cool cool...i wasn't there that night when everyone went to the track; however, i'm rusty's cousin. I have a white 89 coupe street car that a few of these guys can tell you a little about, but it's out of order until next year for extensive overhaul.

well, the reason it is on hold is because i want to wait until after may 08 (i grad. from uga) until i spend anymore money on it. i'll prolly buy alot of things NEW for the white coupe...however, i do have an 84 coupe roller (will have 87-93 bumpers/1/4 windows) that i plan to build as a drag-only car as i build my 89 or after i build the 89...i'm not sure what i want to do with the 84 yet...whether i wanna go with all new stuff, or make it a budget/used part drag-car...

what kinda stuff you hoardin in monroe? i hear you have a good bit

Yeah I have our own private stock out here. Got tired of running to the parts store every 20 minutes when building on a new project.

Does the 84 have the original window gills on the side? Damn I love those on the 4 eyed coupes. If ya have em and want to trade I have 87-93 1/4 glass I will trade ya. I have a 86 front clip I am going to put on something eventually and would like the windows to go with it. I am going exactly backwards of what your planning on doing to the 84 starting with a aero nose.

Sorry to hear about the dents.

The first day that I brought my 03 Cobra home our oldest daughter slammed the door open into the rear (thing metal) bumper of my 54 Chevy pick up gashing a hole in it. I didn't even look but continued into the house to eat dinner. I know if I looked that I would say something really bad and after all it is only a car but our kid's are Forever!

Thank goodness that it was the same door that had a small orange defect in the paint and SVT replaced the entire door for free a week later. I was sure glad that I didn't respond at the time it happened.

It all works out in the long run.
