    Default Atlanta Dragway Meet (Athens Area) July 13th

    DATE PUSHED UP TO THE 13TH OF JULY

    Here we go. I have had the idea to do it for awhile. Admission is 10 bucks at the gate to watch the racing and 20 bucks to race. I am thinking we ride up from Athens at maybe 6:30 and arrive there around 7:30. There is a Sonic before you get to the track so we can grab some grub then go in and line the cars up in the parking lot and chill and watch some racing. For those brave enough to put their cars out....go for it.

    Meeting Point: Country Rock which is right off 441. Any questions on how to get there PM me....

    When: 6:30 meet up 7:30 arrival

    Where: Atlanta Dragway in Commerce

    Cost: $10 to watch
    $20 to race
    and money for grub.

    Also if you want to race and your car runs lower than 13's wear pants and bring a helmet

    hour to get there it doesnt take that long. i will go if im in town and you have to have pants no matter how fast you car is.

    From Atlanta go up I-85 North all the way to exit 149 Banks crossing take a left off the exit. Go to the second light and take a left at Tanger Blvd. between racetack and pizza hut. Take your first right after the Sonic on Ridgeway Rd. and the dragstrip will be 1/2 mile down on your right. See ya there


    Also this is the event that is going on that Fri.-sun.ORSCA OUTLAW 10.5 YEAR ONE CAR SHOW So that ought to be something to go watch and im sure there will be some racing going on too!<DIV class=medblack align=justify>
    The Atlanta Dragway is located approximately 60 miles NE of Atlanta near the intersection of I-85 and Highway 441 in Banks Crossing.

    • From the North on I-85

    Remeber you don't have to run your car and I don't think a lot of people in this group will. So don't think you have to run your car at the d=srtip. Im sure as hell not. It would be cool to watch some of you run but don't have to. We are just there to hang out and watch everyone else!
