There's multiple sides to that 1) If riders passed near the center it wouldn't be an issue 2) they can't because the person they're passing would flip their shit being within a few feet of them 3) If oncoming traffic didn't freak out....omg, it's a bike! 24+ foot wide road with two 6 foot wide cars and a 3' foot wide bike & rider. That leaves about 10 extra feet plus the width of the centerline! That's nearly 3 feet on either side of both cars...plenty of room but us Americans are too slow to handle something like that.Originally Posted by GuessWho
The major problem....obviously you'll have inexperienced riders from time to time but the last several tragic accidents i know about were tourist/locals stopping in the middle of the road or pulling out without looking. Of course speed will be an issue with a majority of accidents but i've had them pull out in front of me several times in a 7 foot tall land rover (full roof rack) and bright ass hella driving lights running full time. People don't pay attention...at all.
