    I saw that too. It was only the GA mountains. White county was mentioned but they said other places too...

    It looked like Blood mountain to me on a few of the video shots...

    I still may be in the game. I gave up on passing emissions and turned it into alan cox on friday. Hopefully they'll know how to get it to pass. They're good people, and they've gone many swaps. If they get it knocked out, I've just gotta get rubber and alignment and I'm good to go...

    I'm there...but in the Maxima as the Starion won't be ready.

    BUT, the weather is looking VERY nice for this weekend. Highs up near 80 and lows in the 50's...

    BTW, this was a phony thing. This happens each year. Probably from some local who doesn't like the bikes up there.

    LoL, don't get TOO excited, Brit, dear. I called Alan Cox. They said they found a sensor loose, but they don't garuntee that's the problem. I'm probably going to see if I can contact someone and get tires ordered in so the tires will be sitting at the shop when I can come down friday.

    nice... props to you for hardwork. Yeah we are riding as a group. I'm not sure how many... I know of atleast 4 from Teaminterlude and a few more from NC that are going for sure... and I think a few more from IA... daily prolly knows exact #'s better than me. I'd say MINIMUM of 10 ppl are for sure going at this point.

    I'm still contemplating heading up earlier. I don't want to set up tents in the dark and I want to get some Friday runs in. Friday runs seem to be some of the best open road runs I've had up there...you know before the crowd gets there...

    We are staying at the motor cyle place on the Gap. It's 12 a night per tent site and 50-70 I think for rooms.

    A standard room is $49/night for two people, and $10/person extra up to four people total in a room.

    i would... but last time it was just a lil overrated.... freezin balls in 30 degree weather not to mention the RAIN....and showering in freezing cold water in a gross bathroom wasn't that great. And from what it sounds like the store camping is worse than at Fontana... so yeah I figured I'd go with a room this time

    No rain in the forecast and it's supposed to be warm and I haven't heard anything about the camping there being bad but I haven't heard anything at all so who knows...

    If anything, you can let us keep our valuables in the room when we go driving...

    I'll try, but you KNOW I'd rather be on the tail. However, this will give me time to get some sticky rubber on lighter rims...and get that rear camber kit, and probably a new better-working front camber kit. Be safe out there! I'll go up in about 3 weeks (give or take)
