Deals Gap/Tail of the Dragon Spring Run 2007 (TN/NC border)
March 23-25
Once again, we are going to the Gap. This time we will be staying at the cycle lodge itself. I am still camping but they have rooms there for cheap. Just call and reserve (800-889-5550 or Deals Gap Motorcyle Lodge for more info). You need a CC# (will NOT be charged) and a phone #.
So, there is no reason not to reserve now (no reservations for camping though)!

A date would be good
We were up there a few weeks ago and plan to be there for two Mazda events and one MINI event this year but of course any excuse to go to the Dragon is a good one. Hope to get up there as many times as possible when the weather is good

we went about a month ago.. it was my first mountain run... it was very fun...
only made one full pass though.. i'm from blue ridge.. it's about an hour and a couple minute drive up there so...
Man hopefully i'm done with my car by then. Suppose to be going RB20 and suspension. Do you guys know what month that would really help me so i can push hard to get this shit done.
Date would be nice, but probably will make it.

I got jacked last time cuz I was trying to get some work done. Well, it should all be done. I've missed out on like 3 different gap runs cuz of that...I'm determined to make this one. After like...20+ different runs in blue-ridge, I'm ready for something new.

LoL, the infamous triangle. Blood mountain, wolf penn gap...I live at the base of the mountains. Last one I did was like...september, though. September or october. It's the off season due to gravel and possible ice. That, and cops were getting heavy for a minute because the media was covering the speeding motorcyclists up here...

Really by that I meant cheaper, I can either get a rear swaybar and hit the mountains, or no swaybar and hit the track. Once my financial situation improves I might take my new DA for a run.

At the track I'd be able to actually push the car, thats why it's nicer. On public roads I am too paranoid to push it hard, just here and there to ass-test a new swaybar or different damping settings. Mountains are just exiting with spirited driving, not necessarily fast or to a point where you are losing traction, + the view.

To come to the mountains. I'd love to see a d-series run up there. I had a D15B2, but swapped out. I plan to build it while it's sitting around in my garage though. I may refer to you for places to get good d-series parts.
