Here's my write up for the evening, please disregard the top pictures. SELOC had a busy day. It was a great time. Thanks to everyone who was a part of this. Organizers, Sponsors, Attendees, Spectators. Weather could have cooperated a little more but other than that no complaints.
Well, the day started off to a slow start but the Asian Mafia eventually got together and met at Dave & Buster’s of Gwinnett before our arrival at the Joker Bash 07’ at Hooter’s of Canton. The intention was to roll in 3 deep. Patrick (Matrix), Shin (IS300), and myself (GS300). At D&B was supposedly a bike photo shoot. Let’s just say we soon found ourselves doing a photo shoot. Bing (GSX-R 750) and Omar (GSX-R 600) arrived shortly after we did in true tribal fashion. These are a few shots we took before we were informed of the new location for the shoot.
We rode over to the other side of the parking lot to get Bing and Omar squared away with the models. Wow, I couldn’t even take pics because of some of the “positions” that were entailed during their shoot. I’ll leave it up to your imagination to figure out what that means. These guys still have reputations to uphold. So, during that process we, being the three that drove cars, piled into the IS300 and made our way to the closest fine dining restaurant, McDonald’s!!! lol. On the way there we saw a HONDI! Oh yes you heard me right! A HONDI. “What exactly is a HONDI?” you might ask. Well, a HONDI is a late 90’s Civic with an Audi emblem on the grille! Such a pity that I left the camera in my car during this food drive. On the way back we nearly got hit by an Audi who was reversing into onward traffic. Wow! Just Wow!
Well, after chomping down on the goods we got back in our cars and bikes and took the hour long drive up to Canton’s Hooter’s to attend the show! Here are my pics from the event. I believe that there were only two classes. Show Import and Show Domestic. From what the other members tell me I took home 1st place Import! YES!!! I had to leave early due to a fine date with my special lady! Bing, Shin, and Patrick were all team players and troopers since they stayed behind and made sure that all was taken care of. Thanks Guys! I owe you one! (An XL-Bowl of Pho)!!! Until next time enjoy the following pics.
Thanks again to all of those who came out to represent us at the show!
1. Bing
2. Patrick
3. Shin
4. Mike
5. DSouth (a member from clublexus) who almost hit my car!

I do not know who came in third in my class. A corvette came in first, I believe he hit 144 db but I could be wrong, I know it had to be higher than 142Originally Posted by Daccord93

Yeah it was a pretty good show. One thing that pissed off a few people though, was the Hooters Choice award. Pretty messed up that it went to the Zeypher on Dubs, nice car, but the owner was a friggin HOOTERS GIRL. That right there is uncalled for. She should not have been eligible to get that prize.
yea I agree we were kinda pissed with that decision as well

First in db if it was a corvette was Cam Farris. He's not on here, but he's one of the lead guys from Joker Performance. Normally a club (JP included) will not allow it's cars to compete in shows that it's hosting. However, numbers DO NOT lie, and are not biased. (just a safety in case anyone wants to flog Joker Performance for allowing one of its cars to run)
Also, yeah, I think it's crap that the Hooter's girl's car won the hooters choice award, but at the same time, rules are rules...the hooters girls were allowed to pick any car on the lot. No rule was set that a hooter's girl's car COULDN'T be selected for this...however, who would have thought a hooter's girl would have a car that looked like that? That and straight up...she was FIIINE.
Moving on, I'll advise in the planning of the next show that no hooter's girl's cars can be selected for the Hooter's Choice.

yea that is true, Rules are rule all you can do is modify them for the future. Oh yea I saw some glimses of my carsomewhere buried

Anyone got the link to their pictures of the show in the "car pics" section or whatever? Would help greatly. I'll see if I can get my buddies' pictures in there as well...

Joker/Hooters Pics That should be it.
1 up for the link.
JDMadness ==>EvasiveEF9
He got first for his class...I think there were like 3 classes in db drag?
JDMadness ==>EvasiveEF9
I'll see if they recorded who or what won what... And I agree, there probably weren't enough for three classes, but it'd be unfair to put a 8" sub against a 12"...
As for he who asked about wattage-ratings...it's not always about watts. Keep in mind the cabin space, direction, location, box space, and provided-power (power the alternator/battery can keep flowing) also play a part..it's hard to judge. I think most of the guys were around 1000 watts. I'll ask the vette guy how much he was putting out.
JDMadness ==>EvasiveEF9
i only had one 12 runnin 500 rms. im pretty sure i was the only person with a single sub. I do aree that there werent enough people in the sound compitition to realy split it up into all the different classes. They did a good job with what they had
AudioTrix = good work...
JDMadness ==>EvasiveEF9
I'm up there all the time. They do awesome work, and they're really good people. They actually care about their work...
Cobb County SUCKS. I hate them fuckers...
