Old-school. Just turn, slam the gas, and the car drifts on it's own.
all the cars drift on their own, all u have to do is turn the steering wheel and they starts drifting, u dont have to use and brake or anything, and they counter steer on there own, kinda lame in my opinion, i like drifting in project gotham 3, its more realistic, and the new forza will be awesome to do it with

plus i have played a lot of car games, and even the old need for speeds when u did the drift competitions were a little more real... i just dont like the game play at all in this one

More realistic? I hardly considering drifting in any video game "realistic" no matter how hard they try. GT4, Forza, PGR3, D1GP, NFS, all of these have cars and tuning capabilities that can make a car drift.
When it comes to sliding in a game, I don't look for a "realistic" factor because it's not going to be there. Having drifted with DG Trials and Drift Fury in my old MSM, I can assure you that. Instead, I look for what is more fun. GT4 requires heavy tuning and good suspension knowledge to really get your car to work for you. PGR2 and D1GP just felt very sluggish to me. Every car feels like I'm trying to drift an Oldsmobile. Forza wasn't so bad and NFS:C is just too simple, I agree. Again, it really just narrows down to personal preference. Just know that no video game is going to give you that realistic experience.
well then i shoulda said i dont like the game play of carbon, there... i like forza and pgr3 better....

the key to the drifting is letting off the gas when you get close to a wall then putting it back on. and use nos. if you get to close to the wall sometimes works.
the ending of that game was pretty lame i think though.

i just beat the lambo with the rx7. im playing with the mercialago now , it sucks imo. whats some other good cars , i already built the dodge charger r/t...garbage!! the acceleration was crazy and topped at 180 but what good is that power if the whole track is turns and ur slamming into a wall constantly
that video is when i hadnt even been playing for 5 minutes , its easy as hell to drift in that game...i scored over 300,000 in 1 continuous drift lol...fun game but where the fuck is the 240 , i beat the 3 checkpoint challenges

The game is too short. I beat it on the PS2 when I rented it. But the PS3 version has a few differences and I've been tearin em' up online.

Use the Evo VIII Lancer w/ the highest tuned mods availabe and you should beat the guy in the Lambo w/ no problem. I beat the girl in the Charger in one race on the downhill when she was in front, i flew by her and maintained in front of her for 10 sec and won. If you do that you dont even have to do the two races when they get behind you.
I think i beat that game in 12 hours 100%. It's a fun game to rent and beat fast, i def. wouldnt buy this short of a game. Now the achievments would take alot longer to get. I think i have 12 out of 50 lol.
Graphics are tight, the sound effects are awesome, even has some great techno, but to few of cars, not enough time in the game, but it's still fun to rent.
I cant figure out the two player part, I was really drunk when I did it but it kept saying something about a profile so I made one and it told me I needed to make another, and another, and another so I finally gave up.
