Who is running VISTA?

What do you think? What are your computer specs and computer rating? (see below if you don't know what i'm talking about)



I'm running Beta build 5600 32bit version on a P4 3ghz, 1gb ddr ram, 300GD hd, and a Nvidia 6800 128mb PCIx... i have an Overall Rating of 3.

I like it makes it more like a Mac GUI, but the overhead dayum its a resource hog... from what i was reading you need 512mb for minimum requirements. I haven't ran into any issues other then some driver problems b/c companies like CREATIVE won't release Vista drivers until next month. That and i had to shut it down manually 1x or 2x.

Anyone else?

Im wanting to but Im skurred. When are they officially going to release it? Im so behind in keeping up with press releases and updates.

I'm running it and enoying it so far. I'm mostly waiting for DX10 to come out... and to get a 360 to hook up to it.

It's already released to corporations and businesses as Enterprise edition. I have it.

Ever since I posted to Vista pack a LONGGG time ago I got tired of it. Just that visual pack alone used up a ton of space and slowed down the comp. I'm ok with XP for now!
