    Default WABA GAME

So me being a fighting game aficionado, I've always been looking for good competition. Asked a friend the other day of any good spots in the ATL. He informed me of this newly opened game store. Waba Game.

Its off the intersection of Peachtree Industrial and Howell Ferry Rd. Its the intersection just before/after/west of the Peachtree Ind. and Pleasant Hill intersection in Gwinnett.

I told him I'll give him a shout out on here for peeps looking for a good spot.

Anyway, I went over there yesterday afternoon with my cousin to check it out myself. They have alot of import games there. Its like a better version of Swap USA. You can buy, sell and trade games. They go all the way back to original gameboy's and new geo. Think I even saw some turbo grafix16 stuff. Alot of import movies, anime and live action alike.

But this is just touching the surface. Further into the store (you can get a quick tour if you ask) is a pretty large area partitioned to 4 rooms. One room is for private gaming, the next for karaoke, the 3rd has 4 giant DLP tv's all with X-Boxes hooked up ready for stuff like a halo match being all the consoles are linked. They even had 2 Gran Turismo GT wheels set up on a table to be used in whatever game of your choosing.

The 4th room is the largest. They have a HD projector viewing up to a 16ft wide viewing area for special events and movies. Tournaments, late night parties, lock-ins and all that. They have thousands of music, professional DJ equipment, A snack bar and private restrooms. This place is seriously hooked up.

Said they hold all kinds of events from time to time. They can host birthdays and whatever else they're asked of in that criteria. I was pretty impressed with the quality of the place and the money simply spent on furniture and electronics. leather couches, Table Tennis, Pool table, skee ball... etc. Its a sweet spot I recommend you checking out if you're really into console gaming or wanna host a party up. Could be a good spot to hang out at after a meet.

Here's the thing. For an hour pass (unlimited usage of their facilities) is $5. This is just for a stop by to play something up. Now if you plan on a full day pass, tournaments (with prizes given eg, real samurai sword sets) its $15.
