Lineage 2
Yup, I play on Lothar. Usually on my dwarf paladin Moryn or my gnome mage Yiktil. Was originally horde, but decided to join the light side so I could play Paladin, since they dont have shadow knights for whatever reason.
And yes, this is a repost, and Lineage esta the SUX!!! Absolutely no point in playing that game past lvl 1, no rewards, no REAL pvp (running up behind an afk lvl 1 and smashing him with your hammer is not PvP, not to mention the battle system sucks, the armor graphics suck, it's basically like Everquest 2 minus ANY fun... And EQ2 is pretty bad, so that isn't sayin' much about L2.

someone tell me how the new Battlegrounds patch is. i don't feel like renewing my account right yet, just seeing if it's worth it.
daoc is ownage for pvp, nothing can compare.
guild wars is close, but not quite there yet. has potential, tho.

Ya, DAoC was alright for awhile, I like the crafting system in that game more than any other game. But I couldn't level up to the PvP minimum, just got too bored.
yeah, it sucked unless you're rr10 with full artifacts and a bot. too much dork ownage for me. bunch of nerds double boxing could rock on that game tho, lol.
i like to get laid too much to be uber at online games, haha.

lmao, sounds like you got pwnd to much. i have a lv71 dark avenger and lv62 gladiator on L2: lionna and the castle siege and alliance wars are teh fun.

Lets put it this way, this is not a smoker (not inside, aka gotta take breaks) game. Got tired of comin back and bein dead due to some jackass lol. If I wanted PVP, I'd join a PvP server... but when i'm afk, I'd prefer not having to look for a fox hole to hide in.
played WoW for a month or so. had a 60 dwarf warrior with full valor and 300 smithy yadda yadda yadda, all that crap. game gets real old when all your doing is MC/kazaak/Azuergos/mc/mc/mc/etc...... real old real quick
most mmrpgs are way behind what EQ1 was. WoW was awsome but lacked high end content, housing would of been a GREAT improvment for WoW
EQ1=good if you started playing early enough
EQ2= awful
WoW= fun but easy
FF11=awful
Guild wars= terribley lame, real old. real quick. nothing special
UO= crap crap
AO= beta tested and hated it then
SWG=almost worse than EQ2
Supposedly battlegrounds is supposed to add a bit more for high lvl folks to do.. But ya, I agree with you, nothing touches old EQ1. I played that game entirely too much back in the day, but now if you go on, South karana, Old Sebilis, guk, they are all ghost towns lol.. good ol' days.

i remember how much of a huge deal it was when people were first trying to kill things in the first plane zones.
its the same thing with some servers. if you go in on certain ones all the high lvls left the zone so there like no one there. no economy and no guilds to go raid anything.
oh and i also remember how badass it was to be the first person to finish your epic quest. i was the first on my server to get my class epic heh
you may be right. but how much contect did eq2 have after what 6 or 7 months? or however long wow has been out.
also battlegrounds was just released. well part of it and it majorly kicks ass.
and of course wow would get boring if your nothing but a carebear PVE player. PvP is the funnest part of the game. also all the MC Kazzak onyxia gear sucks for PVP. Stupid guilds in my server run MC. to get good gear. then use that gear to run MC again for gear that isnt that great. then run around claiming to be great but get their asses handed to em in pvp. /sigh
thats because most of the high lvl raid guilds are old EQ1 people. =). all they do is raid. they like having the uber guild with all the gear and money in the game.
oh and i still have an active subscription to EQ2, yeah theyve added a alot of stuff but EQ2 is still pretty bad. I might play WoW again sometime... but i wouldnt start back up unless i knew some ppl that played too
Me, and a few other people here are on Lothar, alliance in WoW. Or in EQ1 on Fennin Ro/Bristlebane, EQ2- Crushbone... I've got way too many active mmorpg subscriptions.
wow people really do still play EQ1.
my schedule doesnt allow me to raid so i had to stop playing WoW. and it was just too laggy for me to play the massive pvp stuff in WoW now.
EQ2 i just didnt like. really slow progressions.. lvl 15 in eq2 felt like lvl 50 in EQ1
EQ1 was a ghost town for about a week or two when EQ2 first came out, then when everyone realized how much it sucked, they all headed back to EQ1. EQ1 is still the best mmorpg around imo.

i got 13 atl members in my guild.
alliance outnumber us 2.5:1 but horde is winnin prolly 90% of the BG's.

well i never thought i would like any kind of mmorpg. wow was really easy to get into. i like it alot ... iv been playin off and of for the past month or so and i got a lev 34 undead warlock. i started out in proudmoore or how ever you spell it. its a great game if u really dont think you could like these games. its not to to complex but it has its complex sides. true it would be easy from some one who has been playing EQ1 for a long time and other games as well, but for us first timers into the relm of mmorpg its a great game.. very fun to me =) and oh if anyone is in my server my name is Kreptor

i got a few friends i play with on my server but if they ever quit playin ill come over that way thanks/// im sittin here waiting for the servers to come back up its a tuesday =(

and its funny you can look up the word "wow" on google and the first result is a world of warcraft page.
they just need to add housing....... its the only thing that wow is missing
so you play horde on azgalor :-D
