did they do swap of vocalists than? cause i know blood has been shed's vocalist up till 02' was howard jones who then became killswitch's
edit. i looked it up to get it straight.
Blood Has Been Shed is a tech metal group from Connecticut. They are known for having two members of Killswitch Engage (Howard Jones and Justin Foley) in the band, though Blood Has Been Shed's style is more extreme. Though Jones and Foley are currently performing with Killswitch Engage, they don't intend to end Blood Has Been Shed. Currently the band is on hiatus.
so when kse's lead singer left is when, howard jones came to kse, which i think is why u have them connected threw lead singers but its the other way around than u think.

they are ok... to me they are nu-metal/metalcore crap... like a billion other bands: atreyu, bleeding through, it dies today, etc... you want good metal listen to: caliban, himsa, between the buried and me, zyklon, ihsahn, etc
the term hardcore is used to lightly... i think of hardcore being true roots of hardcore anything NYC style, the sXe bands, etc... ie. Earth Crisis, Sick of It All, Snapcase, Integrity, Hatebreed, Morning Again, etc
most of the bands today are nu-metal, metalcore, indie, screamo,etc... hardcore doesn't really exsist anymore. maybe i'm just old or maybe i just refuse to associate skinny kids wearing girl jeans w/ bad black dyed hair cuts being hardcore.

exactly... but some of those i would still consider more punk... hardcore to me the wave of NYC style hit... that was when it really started breaking out in the mid 90's....Originally Posted by Hulud

I never knew KSE switched lead singers. 'Alive or Just Breathing' was pretty good when it came out but End of Heartache was weak.
When I think hardcore Minor Threat comes to my mind first, dont know where you guys would rank them at.
